F J.D. Weatherspoon announced Tuesday via Twitter that he will transfer to Toledo after the spring quarter. Weatherspoon will have to sit out next season, per NCAA rules, and then have two seasons of eligibility remaining. The Columbus native, who played high-school ball with former Buckeye Jared Sullinger and Michigan PG Trey Burke, visited Temple and Toledo before deciding on the Mid-American Conference school.
