Ducks' Pavel Mintyukov: Not ready for start of camp

Mintyukov is dealing with a lower-body injury and is day-to-day to begin training camp.

Mintyukov ended 2023-24 with a bone bruise, though it's unclear if the injury keeping him out early in camp is the same one. The 20-year-old defenseman produced 28 points in 63 games as a rookie last year and should be in contention for a top-four role this season. It's unclear at this time if he'll be ready to go when the Ducks begin their preseason slate Tuesday against the Sharks.
