Johansen signed a professional tryout agreement with Nashville on Wednesday, Emma Lingan of The Hockey News reports.
Johansen has just nine games of NHL experience, making him a long shot to earn a full contract coming out of training camp. Still, the 26-year-old blueliner could play his way into a two-way contract with a strong showing during the preseason. Even if that does happen, Johansen figures to play the majority of his games in the minors with AHL Milwaukee.
