  • Lightning's Anthony Cirelli: Dealing with upper-body injury

Cirelli (upper body) is considered day-to-day after missing Thursday's game versus the Senators, Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site reports.

Cirelli has battled a couple of injuries in recent weeks, and this one is forcing him to miss at least one game. He hasn't been ruled out for the Lightning's pair of road games this weekend -- at Detroit on Saturday and at Montreal on Sunday. Conor Sheary is in the lineup and Nick Paul has moved into Cirelli's usual spot on the second line for Thursday's contest.

  • Golden Knights' Raphael Lavoie: Returns to minors

Lavoie, who missed Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Islanders because of an illness, was sent to AHL Henderson on Thursday, per SinBin.vegas.

Lavoie's reassignment implies that he's now healthy enough to play. He has no points, four shots and seven hits in three appearances with Vegas in 2024-25. The 24-year-old also has nine goals and 16 points in 29 outings with Henderson this season.

  • Noah Philp C | EDM

Oilers' Noah Philp: Returns to minors

Philp was reassigned to AHL Bakersfield on Thursday.

Philp has two assists over 12 appearances with Edmonton in 2024-25. He also has nine goals and 17 points across 28 outings with Bakersfield this season, and he'll have an opportunity to work with the minor-league club during the NHL's break for the 4 Nations Face-Off.

  • Stars' Mavrik Bourque: Questionable for Friday

Bourque (face) might be able to return Friday against the Kings, depending on how he fares during the Stars' morning skate, per Mike Heika of the Stars' official site on Thursday.

Bourque has six goals and 14 points over 47 appearances in 2024-25. If he's able to return Friday, then Colin Blackwell might be a healthy scratch.

  • Sharks' Ty Dellandrea: Ready to play

Dellandrea (upper body) is set to be activated off injured reserve and play Thursday versus Vancouver, per Max Miller of NHL.com.

Dellandrea missed San Jose's past four games due to the injury. He has a goal, five points, 31 PIM and 99 hits in 41 appearances in 2024-25. Colin White might be a healthy scratch to make room for Dellandrea's return.

  • Blackhawks' Jason Dickinson: Sustains high-ankle sprain

Dickinson has a high-ankle sprain, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports Thursday.

Dickinson will have imaging done on his ankle Friday, so a timetable for his return hasn't been established yet. However, Dickinson is likely to miss at least Friday's clash against Nashville and Saturday's tilt versus St. Louis. After those two outings, Chicago will begin its break for the 4 Nations Face-Off and return Feb. 22 versus Columbus. Dickinson has seven goals and 16 points in 53 appearances in 2024-25. Philipp Kurashev is likely to draw back into the lineup while Dickinson is unavailable.

  • Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Skates Thursday

Crosby (upper body) completed a solo skating session Thursday, Penguins play-by-play announcer Josh Getzoff reports.

Crosby wasn't on the ice with his teammates for Thursday's practice session but is at least working to maintain his conditioning. Head coach Mike Sullivan told reporters that the world-class center was still being evaluated for his upper-body injury and that the club hoped to know more Friday. At this point, fantasy managers should probably consider Crosby questionable heading into Friday's tilt with the Rangers.

  • Clark Bishop C | CGY

Flames' Clark Bishop: Back in AHL

Bishop was reassigned to AHL Calgary on Thursday.

Bishop scored once in his first six NHL games this season after his recall Jan. 23, but was a healthy scratch in his last two contests. The Flames recalled Dryden Hunt in a corresponding move.

  • Shane Pinto C | OTT

Senators' Shane Pinto: Ruled out against Bolts

Pinto (upper body) will not be in the lineup versus Tampa Bay on Thursday, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.

Pinto was riding a five-game winning streak before he was injured in Tuesday's matchup with the Lightning after logging just 2:57 of ice time. With Pinto on the shelf, the Senators will roll with seven blueliners Thursday, a move which will see Nikolas Matinpalo return to action after sitting out the last game.

  • Blues' Alexandre Texier: Not playing Thursday

Texier (illness) will not be in the lineup versus Florida on Thursday, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.

Texier has four goals and five assists over 27 games this season, his first in St. Louis after spending parts of five seasons with Columbus. The 25-year-old is expected to be replaced in the lineup by Mathieu Joseph, who has apparently recovered from his illness that forced him to sit out Tuesday.
