Canadiens' Nick Suzuki: Records third straight two-pointer
Suzuki scored a goal on three shots and assisted on a power-play goal in Tuesday's 2-1 overtime win over the Islanders. He also blocked two shots and had one hit.
Suzuki assisted on Patrik Laine's power-play tally that put Montreal on top, 1-0, then took advantage of a good bounce on a rebound for the game-winner in overtime. It was the third consecutive two-point night for Suzuki. The tally was his 10th of the season (third game-winner) and the helper his 16th, giving him a team-high 26 points (six on the power play) through 25 outings.

Wild's Joel Eriksson Ek: Exits in overtime
Eriksson Ek (undisclosed) appeared to aggravate an injury when he exited Tuesday's game versus the Canucks during overtime, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.
There was no update on Eriksson Ek's status following the contest. That leaves him questionable ahead of a three-game road trip for the Wild. They play a back-to-back Friday and Saturday against the Ducks and Kings, respectively, before concluding the trip in Utah on Tuesday.

Jean-Gabriel Pageau C | NYI
Islanders' Jean-Gabriel Pageau: Returns to action
Pageau had two shots and three hits in Tuesday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Canadiens.
Pageau was back in the lineup, centering the third line, after missing two games due to a lower-body injury. The 32-year-old forward also returned to the second power-play unit, and he rang a post early in the second period with New York up a skater. Pageau, who has gone seven games without a goal, has five tallies, five assists, 43 shots, 51 hits, 17 blocks, two PIM and a minus-2 rating over 24 appearances.

Cizikas (undisclosed) will play Tuesday versus Montreal, according to Andrew Gross of Newsday.

Jean-Gabriel Pageau C | NYI
Islanders' Jean-Gabriel Pageau: Set to play
Pageau (lower body) is projected to be in the lineup Tuesday versus the Canadiens, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.
Pageau was considered a game-time decision, but he took line rushes both at morning skate and in pregame warmups in a third-line role. He'll return after a two-game absence, though he'll be back on the third line with Simon Holmstrom settling in on the top line.

Trevor Lewis C | LA
Kings' Trevor Lewis: Out 4-6 weeks
Lewis (lower body) will be out of action for 4-6 weeks, according to Russell Morgan of Hockey Royalty on Tuesday.
Lewis sustained the injury in Saturday's 5-2 win over Ottawa. He has accounted for three goals, seven points, 25 shots on net, 15 blocked shots and 46 hits through 25 appearances this season. Andre Lee will probably replace Lewis in Wednesday's lineup versus Dallas.

Chandler Stephenson C | SEA
Kraken's Chandler Stephenson: Moves past illness
Stephenson will return to the lineup on the road Tuesday against the Hurricanes, according to Julian Gaudio of The Hockey News.
Stephenson missed his first game of the season Saturday due to an illness. The left-shot center will slot in on the top line and No. 2 power-play unit. Andre Burakovsky and Daniel Sprong will be the healthy scratches among Seattle's forward group Tuesday.

Zach Hyman C | EDM
Oilers' Zach Hyman: Won't play Tuesday
Hyman (undisclosed) will not be an option for Tuesday's divisional showdown against the Golden Knights, Daniel Nugent-Bowman of The Athletic reports.
Hyman will miss his fifth consecutive contest due to the injury. The right-shot winger was reported as being 5-8 days away from a return to the lineup Nov. 25, so he could be an option for Thursday's game against Columbus if his timeline hasn't changed. Kasperi Kapanen will likely continue to fill a top-six role in place of Hyman.

Sam Steel C | DAL
Stars' Sam Steel: Logs another assist
Steel produced an assist in Monday's 2-1 win over Utah.
Steel is up to 12 games without a goal, but he has five assists and 14 hits in that span. The 26-year-old could see a larger role while Tyler Seguin (lower body) is on injured reserve, though it doesn't appear that will include power-play time. Steel is at 10 points, 22 shots on net, 24 hits and a minus-3 rating through 23 appearances this season.
