  • Brock Faber D | MIN

Wild's Brock Faber: Posts three points in Game 3 win

Faber scored a goal on four shots, dished two assists, added two PIM, blocked two shots and went plus-3 in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Avalanche in Game 3.

This was Faber's third multi-point effort over nine playoff contests. All of his points came at even strength -- he's yet to log a power-play point this postseason. The defenseman has four goals, five assists, 28 shots on net, 17 blocked shots, 10 PIM and a plus-12 rating. Faber gets overshadowed by Quinn Hughes a lot of the time, but the former is a talented blueliner on his own merits.

  • Hurricanes' K'Andre Miller: Extends point streak

Miller picked up an assist in a 3-2 overtime win against the Flyers in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference second round.

It extended Miller's point streak to three games and three helpers. He has chipped in six assists during Carolina's 8-0 start to the postseason. Miller came off a 37-point regular season, his first with Carolina. He leads all Carolina defenders in playoff scoring by a wide margin. Jalen Chatfield, Shayne Gostisbehere, Sean Walker and Mike Reilly sit second in offensive production with two points each.

  • Josh Manson D | COL

Avalanche's Josh Manson: Slated to miss Saturday's game

Manson (upper body) isn't expected to play in Game 3 in Minnesota on Saturday, per Dan Rosen of NHL.com.

Manson is set to miss his fourth consecutive outing. He has two assists and 10 hits in three playoff appearances this year. The 34-year-old also had five goals, 31 points, 91 PIM, 174 hits and 99 blocks in 79 regular-season outings in 2025-26. His next opportunity to return will come Monday against Minnesota.

  • Sabres' Conor Timmins: Picks up helper in loss

Timmins logged an assist and four blocked shots in Friday's 5-1 loss to the Canadiens in Game 2.

Timmins has played in all eight postseason games, but this was his first point of the playoffs. He's added nine shots on net, 19 blocked shots, six hits and six PIM. Timmins fills a third-pairing role, though he could get rotated out of the lineup if head coach Lindy Ruff feels the need to make a change on defense.

  • Noah Dobson D | MON

Canadiens' Noah Dobson: Nabs helper Friday

Dobson logged an assist, five shots on goal and five blocked shots in Friday's 5-1 win over the Sabres in Game 2.

The helper was Dobson's first point in three games since he returned from a thumb injury. The defenseman has been listed on the third pairing since his return, so it's possible he's not playing at 100 percent. He's added seven shots on net, nine blocked shots and five hits across three playoff contests.

  • Canadiens' Alexandre Carrier: Tallies in Friday's win

Carrier scored a goal, added four PIM, logged two hits and went plus-4 in Friday's 5-1 win over the Sabres in Game 2.

Carrier had an excellent defensive performance, and he also tallied the Canadiens' fourth goal. The 29-year-old has seen top-four minutes this postseason, though he's taken a slight dip in ice time since Noah Dobson (thumb) returned to action. The goal was Carrier's second point in nine playoff outings, to go with three shots on net, 13 hits, 21 blocked shots, six PIM and a plus-1 rating.

  • Wild's Zach Bogosian: Ready to rock

Bogosian (lower body) will play in Game 3 against Colorado on Saturday, per Michael Russo of The Athletic.

After missing Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Avalanche in Game 2, Bogosian will replace Jeff Petry in Saturday's lineup. The 35-year-old Bogosian hasn't earned a point in seven outings this postseason, but he has posted two shots on goal, eight blocked shots and eight hits.

  • Canadiens' Mike Matheson: Scores game-winner Friday

Matheson scored the game-winning goal Friday in the Canadiens' 5-1 victory over the Sabres in Game 2 of their second-round series.

The veteran defenseman picked the top corner on Alex Lyon from long range early in the first period to give his squad a 2-0 lead. It was Matheson's first goal of the playoffs and just his second point in nine games this postseason, as he's mainly left the offensive duties on the Habs' blue line to Lane Hutson. Matheson will look to build on this performance in Game 3 on Sunday as the series shifts to Montreal.

  • Lassi Thomson: Signs with Swiss team

Thomson signed a two-year contract with HC Lugano of Switzerland's National League on Friday.

Thomson had three assists, 11 shots on goal, nine blocked shots and six hits across 11 NHL appearances in the 2025-26 regular season. He also had 14 goals and 25 points in 55 regular-season games for AHL Belleville. Thomson was a Group 6 unrestricted free agent after completing his one-year, $775,000 contract with the Senators.

  • Golden Knights' Brayden McNabb: Nets shorthanded tally

McNabb scored a shorthanded goal, added two hits, blocked three shots and went plus-3 in Friday's 6-2 win over the Ducks in Game 3.

McNabb had gone a month without a goal, picking up three assists, 24 hits, 26 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating over 12 games in that span. In the postseason, the defenseman has three points, 14 shots, 22 hits, 20 blocks and a plus-5 rating across nine outings. McNabb continues to fill a key shutdown role for the Golden Knights, which earns him top-four minutes on a regular basis.
