Ben Gleason D | MIN
Wild's Benjamin Gleason: Racks up three helpers
Gleason had three assists in AHL Iowa's 6-0 win over Manitoba on Sunday.
Gleason had been limited to one assist over his previous 11 games. He's at 10 points in 25 outings this season, though he also has a minus-13 rating. The defenseman has logged a pair of three-assist efforts, which obscures his generally lackluster play overall.

Calvin Pickard G | EDM
Oilers' Calvin Pickard: Tending twine Sunday
Pickard will defend the road crease against Montreal on Sunday, Tony Brar of Oilers TV reports.
Pickard didn't appear in any of the Oilers' last four games, and he'll likely continue to see limited playing time after the team traded for Tristan Jarry on Friday. However, Pickard will be between the pipes in the second half of a back-to-back set Sunday. He drew a home start against Montreal on Oct. 23, and he allowed five goals on 27 shots (.815 save percentage) en route to a 6-5 victory.

Nico Sturm C | MIN
Wild's Nico Sturm: In Sunday lineup
Sturm (upper body) is in warmups and will play Sunday against the Bruins, Joe Smith of The Athletic reports.
Sturm was injured towards the end of the game Saturday night against the Senators, and his status was in doubt for Sunday. He is in warmups though and will center Minnesota's fourth line with Ben Jones and Tyler Pitlick. The 30-year-old will appear in his 11th straight game since a lengthy absence to begin the season, registering one goal and three assists in those outings.

Jeremy Swayman G | BOS
Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Drawing start in Minnesota
Swayman will serve as the starting netminder for Sunday's road game against Minnesota, Belle Fraser of the Bruins' official site reports.
Swayman has picked up wins in each of his last two starts, posting a 1.50 GAA and .946 save percentage during that time. The Wild are scoring 2.81 goals per game this season, which is the eighth-worst mark in the NHL.

Joel Nystrom D | CAR
Hurricanes' Joel Nystrom: Headed to AHL
Nystrom has been assigned to AHL Chicago, the team announced Sunday.
Despite just signing a four-year extension, it's Nystrom who is the roster casualty for the Hurricanes with the return of Jaccob Slavin (lower body) from injured reserve. It makes sense given the 23-year-old doesn't require waivers to be moved down to the AHL. He departs the NHL roster with five assists and a plus-3 rating in 24 games played, but he will likely be the first call-up should another injury strike the Carolina defense corps.

Jaccob Slavin D | CAR
Hurricanes' Jaccob Slavin: Removed from IR
Slavin (lower body) was activated from injured reserve Sunday, per the NHL media site.
Following a 29-game absence, Slavin appears to be ready to return to the lineup against Philadelphia on Sunday. He hasn't earned a point in two appearances this season while posting two shots on net and three blocked shots.

Dan Vladar G | PHI
Flyers' Dan Vladar: Facing Canes on Sunday
Vladar will get the start Sunday against the Hurricanes, the Flyers announced Sunday.
Vladar will get the second leg of the back-to-back against the Hurricanes, giving them a different look after Samuel Ersson started Saturday. The 28-year-old Vladar has an 11-5-2 record, a 2.52 GAA and a .906 save percentage on the season. The Hurricanes defeated the Flyers 4-3 in a shootout Saturday and are averaging 3.29 goals per game overall, fifth-best in the league.

Cam York D | PHI
Flyers' Cam York: Ready to rock
York (upper body) will play against Carolina on Sunday.
York will return to the lineup after missing the last four games. He has registered one goal, 11 assists, 19 shots on net and 46 blocked shots over 23 appearances this season. York will replace Ty Murchison in Sunday's lineup against the Hurricanes.
-
Brandon Bussi G | CAR
Hurricanes' Brandon Bussi: Back in net Sunday
Bussi will get the start Sunday against the Flyers, Chip Alexander of The Raleigh News & Observer reports.
Bussi will make his sixth start in nine games, having emerged as the top option in net for the Hurricanes. The 27-year-old is on a personal eight-game winning streak that dates back to Oct. 30 and has posted great numbers in his small sample size of games so far. He has a 10-1-0 record, a 2.07 GAA and a .910 save percentage on the season.

Karel Vejmelka G | UTA
Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: Starting against Penguins
Vejmelka led the Mammoth out for warmups and will start Sunday's game against the Penguins, Catherine Bogart of the Mammoth's official site reports.
Vejmelka will make his fourth straight start for the Mammoth. The 29-year-old has allowed three goals or more in all three prior outings and 10 goals total. Overall, he holds a 13-9-2 record, a 2.73 GAA and an .895 save percentage on the season. On the other side is a Penguins team that has lost four games in a row but is still averaging three goals per game over that stretch.
