High school football rankings: Chaminade-Madonna joins MaxPreps Top 25 after win over St. Thomas Aquinas

Chaminade-Madonna (Hollywood, Fla.) was the only new team to join this week's MaxPreps Top 25 high school football rankings after beating St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.), 29-22. The Lions check in at No. 17 and have won six in a row after an 0-2 start.
Five-star junior athlete Derrek Cooper led a rushing attack that finished with 315 yards on the ground. He finished with over 150 yards rushing and two scores. Jaquari Lewis scored the go-ahead touchdown with 6:35 left and the defense finished the job to preserve the win.
