Dodgers' Michael Conforto: Three doubles in loss
Conforto went 3-for-4 with three doubles in Tuesday's 11-1 loss to the Athletics.
Conforto and Will Smith combined for six of the Dodgers' eight hits in the game. There's signs of life in Conforto's bat -- he's 6-for-10 with four doubles over his last three games. That short productive stretch has raised his average from .134 to .172, and he's added just a .590 OPS so far in 2025. The veteran outfielder also has two home runs, six RBI, 18 runs scored, eight doubles and a stolen base across 145 plate appearances. Despite his poor hitting, he remains in a starting role in left field, though he may cede some at-bats versus left-handed pitchers if he can't get up to a more acceptable level.

Dodgers' Michael Conforto: Falls to bottom of order
Conforto is starting in left field and batting in the nine hole for the first time in his big league career Tuesday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Conforto has dropped to the bottom of the Dodgers' order against Miami's Sandy Alcantara and amidst Andy Pages's recent surge. Conforto has batted from spots four to seven in the lineup during 2025 against right-handers, but Tuesday will be the first time he has batted lower than the seventh spot against any hurler. The 32-year-old is batting .276 with three home runs and nine RBI across 29 at-bats against Alcantara for his career.

Dodgers' Michael Conforto: Idle vs. southpaw
Conforto is not in the Dodgers' starting lineup against the Pirates on Sunday.
The lefty-hitting Conforto will take a seat as the Pirates send southpaw Bailey Falter to the hill. Andy Pages, Tommy Edman and Teoscar Hernandez will start in the outfield for the Dodgers in Sunday's series finale. Conforto is slashing .179/.319/.308 with 13 runs scored, two home runs and five RBI over 94 plate appearances this season.

Dodgers' Michael Conforto: Taking seat vs. southpaw
Conforto is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Cubs.
Conforto started the previous 11 contests, including one game against a left-handed starter, but he'll head to the bench Tuesday with lefty Shota Imanaga pitching for Chicago. The veteran outfielder has gone 5-for-37 (.135 average) during that 11-game span, so it could be a good time for a day off. Enrique Hernandez is starting at second base, which pushes Tommy Edman to center field and Andy Pages to left.

Dodgers' Michael Conforto: Taking seat versus southpaw
Conforto is absent from the lineup for Monday's game against the Nationals.
The left-handed hitting Conforto will begin the series opener on the bench as the Nationals send southpaw MacKenzie Gore to the bump. Conforto has now started four of seven games versus lefties this season. Chris Taylor will occupy left field Monday.

Dodgers' Michael Conforto: Goes deep in victory
Conforto went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 3-1 win against Philadelphia.
Conforto capped the scoring in the contest with a sixth-inning solo shot. The veteran outfielder has enjoyed a strong start to his tenure with the Dodgers, slashing .308/.419/.692 with two homers, five RBI, six runs and a 5:7 BB:K through 31 plate appearances. Conforto appears to be more than a platoon option for Los Angeles, as he started the team's most recent game against a left-handed pitcher.

Dodgers' Michael Conforto: Slugs first homer as Dodger
Conforto went 2-for-2 with a solo home run, two walks and three total runs in a 6-5 win against Atlanta on Wednesday.
Conforto's most memorable contribution to the victory was his solo shot to center field in the fourth inning, which was the first homer of his Dodgers tenure. However, the veteran outfielder was key in other ways as well -- he reached base in all four of his plate appearances and scored two additional times, including in the eighth inning to help spark the team's comeback. Conforto has fit in comfortably after joining Los Angeles during the offseason, as he's slashing .368/.500/.737 with a 5:6 BB:K and four RBI through 24 plate appearances on the campaign.

Dodgers' Michael Conforto: Idle versus lefty
Conforto is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against Atlanta.
Southpaw Chris Sale has the start for Atlanta on Tuesday, so lefty-hitting Conforto will take a seat. With the 32-year-old on the bench, Chris Taylor gets his first start of the 2025 season in left field.

Dodgers' Michael Conforto: Sitting against lefty
Conforto isn't in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Tigers.
The lefty-hitting Conforto will take a seat for the start of the Dodgers' stateside schedule with formidable southpaw Tarik Skubal set to start on the hill for Detroit. Andy Pages will move over to left field as a result, putting Tommy Edman in center field and Miguel Rojas at the keystone.

Dodgers' Michael Conforto: Added to season-opening lineup
Conforto will start in left field and bat seventh Tuesday against the Cubs in the first game of the Tokyo Series.
Conforto was initially slated to begin Tuesday's regular-season opener on the bench with a lefty (Shota Imanaga) on the mound for Chicago. However, Conforto will end up replacing Freddie Freeman, who has been scratched for undisclosed reasons, as Enrique Hernandez moves in from left field to cover first base.

Dodgers' Michael Conforto: On bench for regular-season opener
Conforto is not in the lineup for Tuesday's regular-season opener against the Cubs in Tokyo.
This was fully expected with lefty Shota Imanaga toeing the rubber for Chicago. The Cubs are starting another southpaw in Justin Steele on Wednesday and Conforto will likely be limited to pinch-hitter duties again during that contest. Nevertheless, he hit 20 homers in 130 games with the Giants last year and could provide enough power in his strong-side platoon role to be a useful fourth or fifth outfielder in fantasy this season.
