Brewers' Tobias Myers: Lined up for Game 3 start
Myers will start a potential Game 3 of the National League Wild Card Series versus the Mets on Thursday if he's not needed in relief in Game 2, Jack Stern of BrewerFanatic.com reports.
It's all hands on deck for the Brewers on Wednesday as they try to stave off elimination, but Myers is tentatively lined up to take the ball in Game 3, if Milwaukee is able to force a winner-take-all contest. Myers was arguably the Brewers' biggest surprise this season as he held a 3.00 ERA and 127:36 K:BB across 138 frames in his rookie year.

Brewers' Tobias Myers: Earns win in bulk-relief role
Myers (9-6) allowed one hit and struck out five without walking a batter over four shutout innings to earn the win in relief Saturday versus the Mets.
Myers pitched behind opener Jared Koenig, which could be a signal that Myers will be used out of the bullpen in the postseason. He has gone exactly four innings in each of his last three appearances. The rookie right-hander allowed 13 runs (10 earned) over 29.2 innings across six outings in September, a performance right in line with the rest of his season. He concludes his first major-league regular season with a 3.00 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 127:36 K:BB over 138 innings across 27 outings (25 starts).

Brewers' Tobias Myers: Goes four innings vs. Pittsburgh
Myers didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against the Pirates, allowing two runs on six hits over four innings. He struck out four.
Myers has hit a bit of a snag down the stretch, allowing seven runs over 14 innings in his last three outings. Still, it's been an impressive campaign overall for the rookie right-hander -- Myers is 8-6 with a 3.09 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 122:36 K:BB across 134 innings. He'll look to head into the playoffs on a high note in his final regular-season outing, currently scheduled for this weekend at home against the Mets.

Brewers' Tobias Myers: Inefficient in defeat
Myers (8-6) took the loss against Arizona on Thursday, allowing three runs (one earned) on four hits and three walks while striking out five batters over four innings.
Only one of the runs Myers allowed was earned, but he wasn't sharp. The right-hander needed 93 pitches to get through four frames, and only 52 of those offerings were strikes. The outing was Myers' shortest since he went four frames against St. Louis on Aug. 21, and the loss was his first since Aug. 4 versus Washington.

Brewers' Tobias Myers: Snags eighth win
Myers (8-5) allowed four runs on nine hits and struck out three without walking a batter over six-plus innings to earn the win Saturday over the Diamondbacks.
The Brewers spotted Myers with a 13-run lead before he faltered in the sixth and seventh innings. He hasn't exactly been stellar in recent weeks with just one quality start of his last six outings, though he has a 31:9 K:BB over 32.1 innings in that span. Myers is now at a 3.07 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 115:33 K:BB through 126 innings over 24 appearances (23 starts) this year. The rookie right-hander is projected to make his next start at home in a rematch with the Diamondbacks.

Brewers' Tobias Myers: Strikes out career-high 11 in win
Myers (7-5) picked up the win Saturday against the Rockies. He allowed one run on four hits and one walk while striking out 11 over six innings.
Outside of a solo home run served up to Ryan McMahon, Myers was fantastic in one of the best starts of his young career. Myers got his first career start with double-digit strikeouts and at one point recorded eight straight outs via punchout. The rookie right-hander has been one of the better pitchers in the National League for over half the season now. Since the beginning of June, Myers has a 2.22 ERA, which is good for third best in all of MLB over that span.

Brewers' Tobias Myers: Fans seven in no-decision
Myers did not factor into the decision in Sunday's loss to the Reds, allowing three runs (two earned) on eight hits and four walks while striking out seven in 5.2 innings.
Sunday's outing could have been much worse for Myers, who matched his season-worst marks in both hits and walks allowed with eight and four, respectively. Myers was able to limit the damage with some timely strikeouts, allowing two runs to score on sacrifice flies and a third on a Jake Fraley solo home run. Myers has been a highly dependable pitcher for the Brewers this season, particularly since the All-Star break, after which he has allowed three runs or fewer in all eight of his starts. During that span, Myers owns an impressive 2.76 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 39:12 K:BB in 42.1 innings. The right-hander is tentatively scheduled for a favorable home start against Colorado next weekend.

Brewers' Tobias Myers: Surrenders three runs
Myers allowed three runs on three hits and a walk while striking out four over five innings in a no-decision versus the Giants on Tuesday.
Myers allowed solo home runs to Matt Chapman and Grant McCray. He left the game on the hook for the loss, but Myers was bailed out by Willy Adames putting the Brewers briefly ahead with a two-run homer in the sixth. August has been just okay for Myers, who has allowed 10 runs (eight earned) over 27 innings this month, though he's pitched into the sixth inning in just two of his five starts in that span. He's now at a 2.99 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 94:28 K:BB over 108.1 innings through 21 appearances (20 starts). The rookie right-hander's next start is projected to be in Cincinnati.

Brewers' Tobias Myers: Inefficient in no-decision
Myers allowed two runs on six hits and two walks while striking out five over four innings in a no-decision versus the Cardinals on Wednesday.
Myers was inefficient, requiring 89 pitches (59 strikes) to get through four frames, matching his shortest start since the All-Star break. On the bright side, he kept the ball in the yard for a third straight start. Myers is now at a 2.87 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 90:27 K:BB through 103.1 innings over 20 appearances (19 starts) this year. Fatigue shouldn't be an issue just yet -- the rookie right-hander threw 140.2 innings overall in 2023 and is at just 122 frames across all levels in 2024. He's tentatively projected to make his next start at home versus the Giants.
