  • Diamondbacks' Corbin Carroll: Reaches 20-homer mark

Carroll went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Friday's 5-1 win over the Padres. Carroll has hit safely in five straight games, going 6-for-21 (.286) with two homers and two triples in that span. The outfielder was bothered by a tight hamstring last weekend, but it hasn't appeared to affect his performance at the plate since he rejoined the lineup Sunday. He's now at 20 homers on the year, and he's added a .260/.338/.582 slash line with 44 RBI, 55 runs scored, 10 stolen bases, eight triples and 12 doubles over 68 contests.

  • Diamondbacks' Corbin Carroll: Legs out two triples

Carroll went 2-for-5 with two triples, two RBI and two runs scored in Tuesday's 10-3 win over Seattle. Carroll has been dealing with a tight hamstring, but one would never surmise that watching him run around the bases Tuesday. He has a league-leading eight triples through 66 games and is zeroing in on a third consecutive season of double-digit triples. Carroll ranks sixth in MLB in slugging (.581) and 10th in OPS (.921).

  • Diamondbacks' Corbin Carroll: Playing through tight hamstring

Carroll has been dealing with a tight hamstring but was in the Diamondbacks' lineup Monday and went 1-for-5 with a solo home run and a walk in a 8-4 win over the Mariners in 11 innings, Jack Sommers of SI.com reports. The hamstring issue offers an explanation as to why Carroll was out of the lineup for consecutive games over the weekend against the Reds, although he did appear as a pinch hitter in one of those contests. While Carroll appears set to continue playing through the hamstring issue, it's possible he will be less aggressive on the basepaths. Carroll was unsuccessful in his lone stolen base attempt in June and has just one steal over his last 19 games.

  • Diamondbacks' Corbin Carroll: Clubs 19th homer

Carroll went 1-for-5 with a solo home run and a walk in Monday's 8-4 extra-innings win over the Mariners. Carroll opened the scoring by leading off the bottom of the first inning with his homer. The outfielder has gone 6-for-20 (.300) with three homers and six RBI over seven games in June, but he was on the bench for consecutive contests over the weekend in Cincinnati, likely in effort to get his bat going. He has just one multi-hit effort over his last 20 games, batting a meager .181 (13-for-72) despite his nine extra-base hits in that span. For the season, the outfielder is at a .258/.339/.569 slash line with 19 homers, 41 RBI, 50 runs scored and 10 stolen bases across 65 contests.

Carroll is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals. Carroll is in the midst of a 3-for-31 slump and will head to the bench for just the third time all season. Randal Grichuk is starting in right field and batting sixth versus Washington lefty Mitchell Parker.

  • Diamondbacks' Corbin Carroll: Steals two more bases Saturday

Carroll went 1-for-5 with a walk, a run, an RBI and two stolen bases in a loss to the Rockies on Saturday. Carroll's speed led to a run in the first inning, as he walked to lead off the frame, stole second and scored on a Ketel Marte single. Carroll added another theft after hitting a run-scoring single in the fourth frame to give him his second multi-steal performance of the campaign. The star outfielder has notched at least one stolen base in three consecutive contests and has, so far at least, bounced back in a big way from a bit of a down season last year that saw him finish with a .750 OPS. Through 215 plate appearances in 2025, Carroll is slashing .285/.358/.601 with 14 home runs, 38 runs, 32 RBI and nine stolen bases.

Carroll has three multi-hit efforts over his last four games, going 7-for-17 (.412) with three homers and two steals in that span. The outfielder continues to put together an impressive bounce-back campaign after his struggles in 2024. He's now at a .287/.359/.612 slash line with 14 home runs, seven steals, 31 RBI, 37 runs scored, nine doubles and five triples across 45 contests while routinely batting first or second for the Diamondbacks.

  • Diamondbacks' Corbin Carroll: Tallies sixth career two-homer game

Carroll went 2-for-5 with a two home runs, three RBI and a walk in Wednesday's extra-inning loss to the Rays. Carroll enjoyed his second two-homer game of the month and the sixth of his career Wednesday, opening the scoring with a solo shot in the first inning and launching a go-ahead two-run blast in the seventh. The star outfielder got off to a brutal start in 2024 on his way to an underwhelming .750 OPS, but he's looked every bit the part of a first-round fantasy asset in the early going of 2025. Through 114 plate appearances, Carroll is slashing .327/.404/.693 with nine round trippers, 22 RBI, 23 runs scored and four stolen bases.

Carroll went 1-for-5 with three stolen bases, two runs and an RBI in Thursday's 6-4 win against the Diamondbacks The 24-year-old extended his hit streak to 10 games with a fourth-inning single, but he provided most of his production Thursday in the opening frame as he stole second and third base after reaching via a dropped third strike. Carroll is batting .386 (17-for-44) with nine extra-base hits, 11 RBI and 12 runs during the streak, as he appears to have rediscovered his Rookie of the Year form from 2023 after underwhelming with a .750 OPS last season.

Carroll was in the middle of the rally with a two-run double, his team-leading 11th extra-base hit of the season. It's hard to remember Carroll's 2024 season-opening slump that lingered into the second half of the season. He's batting .322/.412/.695 with 10 RBI and 12 runs over 68 plate appearances.

  • Diamondbacks' Corbin Carroll: Goes yard twice in win

Carroll went 2-for-4 with two home runs, three RBI and one walk in Friday's 6-4 win over Washington. Carroll had Nationals right-hander Jake Irvin's number Friday, taking him deep for a solo homer in the third inning and tagging the righty once again for a two-run blast in the second inning. Through 37 plate appearances in 2025, the speedy center fielder is slashing a healthy .258/.378/.613 with three long balls, two doubles, six RBI and six runs scored but has surprisingly not yet attempted a stolen base in eight contests.

  • Diamondbacks' Corbin Carroll: Swats fourth spring homer

Carroll went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Sunday's spring game against the Padres. The blast was the fourth of the spring for Carroll, who is having a monster Cactus League. The outfielder is slashing .370/.433/1.285 with five extra-base hits, nine RBI and two steals through 10 games. Given his productive finish to the second half of the 2024 regular season which has continued into spring training, Carroll's first-half slump of 2024 is looking like an aberration.

  • Diamondbacks' Corbin Carroll: Returns to field

Carroll started in right field, batted leadoff and went 2-for-3 with a run scored in Saturday's spring game against Cincinnati. Carroll returned to the lineup after missing the last few days. He had been set to return Friday, but that game was canceled due to weather. He's mostly batted second during Cactus League competition, but with split-squad games Saturday, both Carroll and Ketel Marte were atop the separate batting orders. Marte has been the regular leadoff hitter when both players have been in a lineup.

  • Diamondbacks' Corbin Carroll: Day-to-day with back issue

Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said Monday that Carroll (back) is considered day-to-day, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports. Carroll had to be removed from Sunday's Cactus League game against the Rangers due to back tightness. The outfielder said after the contest that he was unconcerned about the injury, and Lovullo's comments Monday confirm that it's considered minor. Carroll has been excellent so far this spring, going 6-for-12 with three home runs and a pair of stolen bases.

  • Diamondbacks' Corbin Carroll: Exits with back tightness

Carroll was removed from Sunday's spring game against the Rangers due to lower-back tightness. Carroll batted leadoff and started in right field Sunday, going 0-for-2 with a strikeout before exiting with the injury. The severity of the issue isn't yet known, and the 24-year-old should be considered day-to-day until more information is available.
