Harper supplied 16 points (6-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and one steal in 28 minutes during Wednesday's 105-95 loss to the Knicks in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
Harper was hot early, once again providing San Antonio with a viable offensive threat off the bench. In his past three games, the impressive rookie has averaged 15.3 points and 7.0 rebounds. Harper (adductor) is not on the injury report for Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals versus the Thunder on Sunday.
Harper played through the adductor issue during Friday's Game 3 loss, and Saturday, head coach Mitch Johnson said that Harper was expected to play Sunday. With Harper not even listed on the injury report, it's safe to assume he'll be available for Game 4.

Head coach Mitch Johnson said Saturday that he expects Harper (adductor) to play in Sunday's Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals against the Thunder, per Tim MacMahon of ESPN.com.
Johnson stated Saturday that he expects both Harper and De'Aaron Fox (ankle) to be available for Sunday's crucial matchup. Harper battled through right adductor soreness to log 17 minutes off the bench in Friday's Game 3 loss, finishing with six points, three rebounds and two assists. While he'll likely continue coming off the bench behind Fox, Harper should see a sizable role as a reserve playmaker while the Spurs look to even the series.

Harper (hip) won't start Friday's Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals versus the Thunder.
Harper started the first two games of this series in place of De'Aaron Fox (ankle). However, Fox has been cleared to suit up for Game 3 and will reclaim his place in the starting lineup. Still, Harper is expected to lead the bench in minutes, assuming he's healthy enough to do so after exiting and not returning to Game 2 on Wednesday.

The rookie guard started the first two games of the series in place of De'Aaron Fox (ankle). Harper had 24 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and seven steals in Game 1. While the rookie played well in Game 2, he didn't finish the contest due to injury. With Fox available Friday, Harper will presumably head back to the bench, although he should still see plenty of minutes, assuming he is healthy enough for a full workload.

Harper was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team on Wednesday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Harper, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, averaged 11.8 points, 3.9 assists, 3.4 rebounds, 0.9 three-pointers, 0.8 steals and 0.3 blocks in 22.6 minutes per game while shooting 50.5 percent from the field over 69 regular-season games during his inaugural campaign. With De'Aaron Fox (ankle) and Stephon Castle serving as the Spurs' top options in the backcourt throughout the season, Harper was limited to just four starts, but the 20-year-old provided a glimpse of what kind of upside he might offer in a more featured role while he filled in for an injured Fox on the top unit during Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals. In the Spurs' 122-115 double-overtime win over the Thunder on Monday, Harper finished with 24 points, 11 rebounds, seven steals and six assists in 47 minutes.
