With Lauri Markkanen out with a back injury, Utah has called up Tshiebwe for some frontcourt depth ahead of Wednesday's game against the Warriors. The 25-year-old big man has averaged 15.3 minutes per game over three appearances with the Jazz this season, so he may play a role off the bench against Golden State.

The Jazz signed Tshiebwe to a two-way deal Monday, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
After waiving Taevion Kinsey on Monday, the Jazz utilized their last two-way spot to sign Tshiebwe. The 24-year-old spent the 2023-24 campaign on a two-way deal with the Pacers, and he averaged 16.2 points, 16.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.9 blocks across 27.2 minutes in 23 regular-season games with the club's G League affiliate, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
Tshiebwe will be available for Wednesday's game against the Raptors.
Tshiebwe has been recalled from the G League's Indiana Mad Ants and will provide the Pacers with some extra depth at center while Myles Turner (illness) and Jalen Smith (back) are sidelined.
