Trevor Daniel: Cleared from virus list
The Titans activated Daniel from the practice squad COVID-19 list Saturday, John Glennon of BroadwaySportsMedia.com reports.
It's still unclear if Daniel was placed on the list due to either testing positive for the virus or if he was deemed a high-risk close contact. In any event, Daniel will return to the practice squad to push for a 53-man roster spot during the last few weeks of the season.

Trevor Daniel: Waived by Titans

Titans' Trevor Daniel: Pulled up to active roster
Daniel has been promoted to the Titans' 53-man roster from the team's practice squad, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Daniel endured a disastrous Thursday night appearance against the Colts in Week 10, shanking one punt for a net of just 17 yards. On the subsequent offensive drive for Tennessee, Daniel had his punt blocked and recovered by Indianapolis' TJ Carrie for a touchdown. With Brett Kern (wrist) remaining on IR, Daniel has been recalled for another opportunity despite a shaky Titans debut. He'll be the starting punter Sunday for a road trip to Baltimore.

Trevor Daniel: Let go by Texans
The Texans waived Daniel on Tuesday.
Daniel averaged 43.5 yards per punt through two games, but he landed just two of 11 attempts inside the 20-yard line (18.2 percent). That's a steep dropoff compared to last year's 48.7 percent, so the Texans brought in Bryan Anger and cut Daniel.
