Davenport is expected to sign with the Giants after Tuesday's workout, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.
Davenport started 32 of the 60 games he suited up for across the first five years of his career between the Texans, Dolphins and Colts. The journeyman failed to make a roster in 2022 and is looking to make a comeback in the Big Apple. With the Giants looking for more competition and depth at tackle, Davenport will now get an opportunity.

The Colts signed Davenport on Monday.
Davenport will provide the Colts with some depth at offensive tackle. The 26-year-old spent last season playing a similar role for the Dolphins, and he was mediocre at best when relied upon as a starter in 2018 and 2019.

Dolphins' Julien Davenport: All clear Sunday
Davenport (knee) returned to Sunday's game against Philadelphia, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Dolphins' Julien Davenport: Leaves Sunday's game
Davenport (knee) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Eagles, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports.
It's unclear how Davenport picked up the knock, but he was forced to leave the game in the first quarter. As long as the Bucknell product is sidelined, look for J'Marcus Webb to take over as the team's left tackle.
