Texans' Rashaad Coward: Signs with Houston
Coward signed with the Texans on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
The Texans quickly moved to add a lineman after projected starting right tackle Tytus Howard sustained a broken hand and will miss up to six weeks. Coward, 28, has experience at both guard and tackle and started 18 of 38 games during his career, including three starts in 2022 for the Cardinals. He's also been with the Bears, Steelers, Jaguars and Falcons.

Cardinals' Rashaad Coward: Practices fully
Coward (chest) practiced fully Wednesday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
Coward has been made unavailable for both of Arizona's previous two games due to a chest injury, but his ability to practice without limitations Wednesday suggests that the issue is now a thing of the past. Despite the numerous injuries at the position, the 28-year-old will likely handle a reserve role for the Cardinals' offensive line.

Cardinals' Rashaad Coward: Won't play Monday
Coward (chest) will be inactive Monday against the Patriots, Kevin Parrish Jr. of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Coward's absence will leave a hole at left guard, a position at which he's been starting since soon after signing with the team Nov. 1. In his place, Cody Ford is expected to draw the start, while Lecitus Smith is expected to see snaps as well.

Coward will join Arizona after a successful workout with the team earlier Monday. The veteran offensive guard played four games for the Steelers last season, although 16 of his 18 total snaps came on special teams during that span. Coward now figures to compete for a depth role along the interior of the Cardinals' offensive line.
