Titans' Mike Brown: Staying in Tennessee
Brown is in line to re-sign with the Titans, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Brown played all 17 regular-season games with Tennessee in 2024, including four starts. He also contributed consistently on special teams. Now, as he heads into his age-26 season, Brown could get a chance to compete for a more substantial rotational role on defense this offseason.

Titans' Mike Brown: Four starts in 2024
Brown registered 49 tackles (26 solo) and one pass defense over 17 regular-season games in 2024.
Brown was mostly utilized on special teams over the Titans' first seven regular-season games. He played at least 44 defensive snaps over the following four games (starting in three of them) due to Quandre Diggs suffering a season-ending foot injury in Week 9, and Brown accumulated 23 tackles (13 solo) over that span. Brown is an exclusive rights free agent, which means he won't be able to negotiate a contract with another team if the Titans extend a qualifying offer to the 25-year-old safety.

Titans' Mike Brown: Eight tackles vs. Jacksonville
Brown tallied eight tackles (five solo) during Sunday's 20-13 loss to the Jaguars.
Brown saw an increased role on defense Sunday due to the absence of Amani Hooker (shoulder), and the former finished the game as the Titans' co-leading tackler with Luke Gifford. Brown has been a solid contributor on both defense and special teams and has totaled 45 tackles (23 solo) and one pass defense through 16 regular-season games.

Titans' Mike Brown: Solid in starting effort
Brown recorded seven tackles (five solo) in Sunday's 27-17 loss to the Chargers.
Brown made his first start of the season with Quandre Diggs (foot) on injured reserve, and he impressed by ranking second on the team in tackles. However, Brown's starting gig isn't guaranteed, especially with the Titans bringing in Mike Edwards via waivers. If Brown can lock down the role, he'll be considered a solid fantasy option.

Titans' Mike Brown: Next man up at safety
Brown is Tennessee's presumed starter at safety after Quandre Diggs' season-ending Lisfranc injury, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Diggs was forced out of Sunday's game versus the Patriots after just 13 defensive snaps, and Brown filled in admirably for the rest of the afternoon, recording six tackles and a pass defensed. He's now in line to start in Week 10 against the Chargers and beyond.

Titans' Mike Brown: Ready for return
Brown (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
Brown has been sidelined since Week 3 with an ankle injury but was activated from injured reserve Saturday and will suit up for the Titans' Week 11 contest. He played primarily on special teams prior to being sidelined and will likely occupy the same role moving forward.
