Spillane tallied 158 total tackles (91 solo), including 2.0 sacks, and seven passes defended (with two interceptions) across 17 regular-season games in 2024.
Spillane has been one of the NFL's most productive inside linebackers over the last two years, recording the fourth-most total tackles (306) in the league along with 11 passes defended, including five interceptions, during that span. He's now led the Raiders' defense in tackles each of the last two seasons while also ranking second in tackles for loss and fourth in passes defended in 2024. The 29-year-old is set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer and is likely to demand a high salary for 2025, having established himself as one of the league's top tacklers.

Spillane led the Raiders in tackling Sunday, and he registered his second sack of the season when he took down Spencer Rattler for a 10-yard loss late in the third quarter, which forced the Saints to punt on the next play. Spillane (knee) is active for Sunday's battle against the Bengals.
Spillane was not able to practice at all this week due to a knee issue, but he'll tough it out and suit up against Cincinnati. He's missed only one defensive snap so far this season, but it remains to be seen if the linebacker will be able to log his usual workload given the injury. Spillane has been very productive with double-digit tackles in six of his eight games so far this season.

Head coach Antonio Pierce told reporters Friday that Spillane (knee) will be a game-time decision for Sunday's matchup against the Bengals, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
The 28-year-old was unable to practice all week after sustaining a knee injury in the Raiders' Week 8 loss to the Chiefs. However, Pierce's comments Friday suggest that Spillane still has a chance to suit up Sunday. If he's unable to go Sunday, expect Kana'i Mauga to serve as the Raiders' top middle linebacker.
