Adrian Martinez: Signs with Jets
The Jets signed Martinez to a reserve/future contract Monday.
Martinez spent his 2024 campaign with the Jets' practice squad after failing to make the 53-man roster in late August. He's yet to appear in an NFL game after throwing for 1,261 yards, six touchdowns and one interception over 10 contests in 2022, his final year at Kansas State, and starring for the UFL's Birmingham Stallions last spring.

Jets' Adrian Martinez: Elevated from practice squad
The Jets elevated Martinez from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.
Martinez will make the trip to London to serve as the third/emergency quarterback behind Aaron Rodgers and Tyrod Taylor for Sunday's game against the Vikings. Rodgers had been dealing with knee swelling all week, but he doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's contest.

Adrian Martinez: Rejoins Jets
Martinez signed with the Jets' practice squad Wednesday.
Martinez was left off the Jets' initial 53-man roster Tuesday, but he'll now stick around in New York after signing with the team's practice squad Wednesday. The Kansas State product could potentially serve as the team's emergency third quarterback behind both Aaron Rodgers and Tyrod Taylor.

Adrian Martinez: Jettisoned by Jets
Martinez was waived by the Jets on Tuesday, Ethan Greenberg of the team's official site reports.
Martinez was signed by New York in July and played in all three of the team's preseason contests, completing 25 of 47 passes for 270 yards, no touchdowns and one interception while carrying six times for 51 yards. He never had much of a chance to play a major role to open the campaign with Aaron Rodgers and Tyrod Taylor serving as New York's top two options at quarterback, but Martinez could land a spot on the team's practice squad if he clears waivers.

Jets' Adrian Martinez: Joining Gang Green
Martinez was picked up by the Jets on Saturday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Martinez landed in Detroit as an undrafted free agent last April but ultimately did not make it through final roster cuts. The Kansas State product will now look for a second chance in the league via a competition with Andrew Peasley for the No. 3 role under center behind Aaron Rodgers and Tyrod Taylor.

Adrian Martinez: Waived by Detroit
Martinez was waived by the Lions on Tuesday.
Martinez signed with Detroit as an undrafted free agent out of Kansas State in April, but he unsurprisingly failed to make the team. The rookie quarterback is unlikely to be claimed on waivers.
