The Chargers signed Crawford to their practice squad Wednesday.
Crawford was waived by the Giants with an undisclosed non-football injury designation at the beginning of November, but he appears to have moved past the issue and will get a new opportunity with the Chargers. The undrafted defensive tackle out of North Carolina has played in only one NFL game, which came in 2020 with the Ravens.
