  • Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Earns pair of points

Namestnikov scored a power-play goal on three shots, dished a shorthanded assist, logged three hits and added two PIM in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Stars in Game 5. Namestnikov was involved in the Jets' last two goals of the game to help them stay in the playoffs for at least one more contest. These were his first points in the second round. The 32-year-old center is at three goals, three helpers, 14 shots on net, 29 hits, 16 PIM and a plus-1 rating over 12 playoff outings. Since Mark Scheifele returned from an upper-body injury at the start of the second round, Namestnikov has been back in his usual middle-six role.

  • Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Nets goal in Game 7

Namestnikov scored a goal on three shots, added three hits and went minus-2 in Sunday's 4-3 double-overtime win over the Blues in Game 7. Namestnikov's goal brought the Jets within one late in the third period. The 32-year-old has stepped up in the absence of Mark Scheifele (upper body), as Namestnikov has earned all four of his points this postseason over the last three games. He's added 10 shots on net, 17 hits, 14 PIM and an even plus-minus rating through seven playoff outings. Namestnikov is seeing top-six minutes while Scheifele is out.

  • Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Logs power-play assist

Namestnikov notched a power-play assist and three hits in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Blues in Game 6. Namestnikov filled in for Mark Scheifele (undisclosed) on the top line in this contest, though the Jets didn't score at even strength. Namestnikov has typically played in a middle-six role, but he's versatile enough to move around the lineup as necessary. He has three points, seven shots on net 14 hits, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over six playoff outings. Scheifele's status for Sunday's Game 7 is not yet known.

  • Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Two points in Wednesday's win

Namestnikov scored a goal on four shots, added an assist, logged three hits and went plus-3 in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Blues in Game 5. Namestnikov helped the Jets take control of the game in the latter half of the second period. He helped out on a Dylan DeMelo goal before scoring one of his own, which stood as the game-winner. These were Namestnikov's first two points of the playoffs. The center has added seven shots on net, 11 hits, three blocked shots, a plus-2 rating and 14 PIM over five postseason outings. Namestnikov could be in line for a bigger role after Mark Scheifele (undisclosed) left Wednesday's contest.

  • Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Delivers helper Saturday

Namestnikov notched an assist and two shots on goal in Saturday's 5-4 shootout win over the Blackhawks. Namestnikov earned his first point over six games in April when he set up the first of Josh Morrissey's two third-period goals. The 32-year-old Namestnikov is up to 37 points in 76 contests, exactly matching the 11 goals and 26 assists he had in 78 outings a year ago. The center has added 90 shots on net, a plus-19 rating, 82 hits, 47 blocked shots and 38 PIM. The consistency is nice -- Namestnikov has been a viable depth forward in fantasy for much of the season.

  • Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Puts up assist in loss

Namestnikov notched an assist and three hits in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to the Canucks. Namestnikov has four points over his last four contests. The 32-year-old had endured an eight-game point drought prior to this hot stretch, so it's encouraging to see him get involved in the offense regularly. He remains in a second-line role as he has for much of the campaign. It's allowed him to produce 34 points, 78 shots on net, 74 hits, 42 blocked shots, 34 PIM and a plus-22 rating over 65 appearances.

  • Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Collects pair of helpers

Namestnikov notched two assists, two hits and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 3-2 overtime win over the Kraken. Namestnikov earned his first multi-point effort since Feb. 1 versus the Capitals. The 32-year-old center had been cold on offense recently with just one goal over his previous 10 outings. He helped out on goals by Cole Perfetti and Dylan Samberg in this game. Namestnikov is up to 33 points, 78 shots on net, 71 hits, 42 blocked shots, 34 PIM and a plus-21 rating over 64 appearances this season.

  • Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Scores in win over New York

Namestnikov scored a goal in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Rangers. He also recorded three shots on goal, two hits and a plus-1 rating. Namestnikov found the back of the net for the first time since Jan. 30 via a deflection, and the 32-year-old has netted 11 goals across 62 outings on the season. He's scored double-digit goals in three of the last five seasons, but he's not much of a reliable fantasy option given his inconsistencies on a game-to-game basis.

  • Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Expected to be fine

Namestnikov should be fine after leaving Sunday's 4-2 loss to Carolina because of a concussion spotter, Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press reports Monday. Head coach Scott Arniel told reporters Monday that Namestnikov had more of a nose issue than a head injury. The 32-year-old Namestnikov has 10 goals, 30 points, 73 shots on net, 41 blocked shots and 65 hits in 61 appearances this season. Namestnikov will probably be in the lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Rangers.

  • Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Taken off by concussion spotter

Namestnikov was removed by the concussion spotter in the third period of Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Hurricanes, according to Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press. Namestnikov was called off after being on the receiving end of a hit from Carolina's Jordan Staal. Before departing, Namestnikov logged two blocked shots, two PIM and a minus-1 rating in 10:02 of ice time. The veteran forward will be reevaluated when the Jets return to Winnipeg -- the club's next game is Tuesday at home versus the Rangers.

  • Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Contributes assist

Namestnikov notched an assist in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over the Blues. Fresh off signing a two-year, $6 million contract extension with the Jets earlier in the day, Namestnikov was able to show off his playmaking skills by starting the sequence that led to Nikolaj Ehlers' opening goal. The helper was Namestnikov's 20th of the season, making this the second year in a row he's reached that mark, as well as the fifth time in his career. He's largely served in a second-line capacity in 2024-25, racking up 30 points, 63 shots on net, 60 hits, 34 blocked shots, 32 PIM and a plus-19 rating over 53 appearances. The 32-year-old has a goal and six helpers during his active five-game point streak.

  • Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Signs two-year extension

Namestnikov inked a two-year, $6 million contract extension with the Jets on Saturday, his agent Dan Milstein reports. The 32-year-old Namestnikov is well on his way to his second-best season at the NHL level, scoring 10 goals and adding 19 assists in 52 outings. His best year was in 2017-18, when he managed 22 goals and 26 assists in 81 games split between Tampa Bay and the Rangers.

  • Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Hits scoresheet again Friday

Namestnikov generated an assist and went plus-1 Friday in a 4-3 win over the Islanders. Namestnikov produced the secondary helper on Nikolaj Ehlers' 17th goal of 2024-25 late in the middle frame. Namestnikov has delivered a goal and five helpers during his four-game point streak and has gotten on the scoresheet in six of his last eight outings. The veteran forward is up to 10 goals, 19 helpers and a plus-18 rating through 52 appearances this campaign. Namestnikov is on track for his best season since 2017-18 when he accumulated 22 goals and 48 points over 81 regular-season games between the Lightning and Rangers.

  • Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Two-point effort in win

Namestnikov scored a power-play goal and added an even-strength assist in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Bruins. The veteran center opened the scoring early in the first period, snapping a 13-game goal drought in the process. Namestnikov has been productive since returning from a four-game absence in mid-January due to a lower-body injury, and over the last five contests he's collected five points while seeing shifts on the second power-play unit.

  • Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Logs assist Friday

Namestnikov notched an assist and went plus-3 in Friday's 5-2 win over Utah. Namestnikov didn't have as much success as linemates Cole Perfetti (hat trick) or Nikolaj Ehlers (goal, two assists). This was Namestnikov's third helper over his last two contests as he settles back into a second-line role following his recent absence due to a lower-body injury. The center is up to 23 points, 46 shots on net, 57 hits, 32 blocked shots, 28 PIM and a plus-16 rating over 46 appearances.

  • Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Two helpers in overtime win

Namestnikov notched two assists, two hits, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Avalanche. Namestnikov helped out on Gabriel Vilardi's go-ahead goal in the second period and Neal Pionk's overtime winner. This was Namestnikov's second game back from missing four contests due to a lower-body injury. The 32-year-old center has been limited to three helpers over nine outings since the holiday break. He's at 22 points, 46 shots on net, 56 hits, 31 blocked shots, 28 PIM and a plus-13 rating over 45 appearances this season. Adam Lowry (upper body) is on injured reserve, so Namestnikov is likely to remain on the second line for a while.

  • Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Set to return Monday

Namestnikov (lower body) is slated to return to action against Utah on Monday, Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press reports. Namestnikov has missed the last four games due to a lower-body injury, but he returned to practice in recent days and has been cleared to suit up against Utah. Over 43 appearances this season, Namestnikov has logged nine goals, 11 assists, 52 hits, 29 blocked shots, 28 PIM and a plus-11 rating while averaging 14:38 of ice time.

  • Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Still out Saturday

Namestnikov (lower body) won't play Saturday versus the Flames, Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press reports. Namestnikov reportedly returned to practice in a non-contact capacity Friday, so it's not a surprise he'll miss his fourth straight game. He should be getting closer to a return, and his next chance to play is Monday in Utah.

  • Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Unavailable Tuesday

Namestnikov (lower body) won't play against Vancouver on Tuesday, according to John Lu of TSN. Namestnikov skated on his own before Monday's practice but will miss his second straight game. He has accounted for nine goals, 20 points, 44 shots on net, 29 blocked shots and 52 hits across 43 outings this season. Due to Namestnikov's absence, Dominic Toninato will remain in the lineup for Tuesday's matchup.

  • Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Game-time decision Saturday

Namestnikov (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision versus Colorado on Saturday, Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press reports. Namestnikov was injured blocking a shot Friday versus the Kings, but he managed to finish the game. Namestnikov has only one assist in his last eight games, giving the 32-year-old nine goals and 11 assists over 43 contests.
