Jets' Eric Comrie: Another relief appearance Sunday
Comrie stopped all six shots he faced in relief of Connor Hellebuyck in Sunday's 5-1 loss to the Blues in Game 4.
Comrie made a second straight relief appearance after another poor start from Hellebuyck. The Jets have squandered a 2-0 series lead, but Murat Ates of The Athletic reports head coach Scott Arniel is still expressing confidence in Hellebuyck. That likely means Comrie will begin Wednesday's Game 5 watching from the bench again as the Jets try to pull out of their recent tailspin.

Comrie stopped two of three shots he faced in relief of Connor Hellebuyck in Thursday's 7-2 loss to the Blues in Game 3.
Comrie gave up a goal to Colton Parayko after entering for mop-up duty in the blowout loss. Comrie isn't expected to play often in the postseason unless Hellebuyck is injured, though the occasional relief appearance could happen. Comrie was 9-10-1 with a 2.39 GAA and a .914 save percentage over 20 regular-season contests.

Jets' Eric Comrie: Comes up short Sunday
Comrie stopped 35 of 38 shots in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Oilers. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.
Both teams were at less than full strength, but the Jets resting two of their top defensemen didn't make things easy for Comrie. He faced a lot of shots and wasn't able to keep enough pucks out, taking his second loss in four starts. The 29-year-old dropped to 9-10-1 on the year with a 2.39 GAA and a .914 save percentage over 20 starts. The Jets' regular-season finale is at home Wednesday versus the Ducks, and it's not yet clear if head coach Scott Arniel will give Comrie another look or let Connor Hellebuyck get a final tune-up before the postseason.

Jets' Eric Comrie: Stellar in shutout win
Comrie posted a 26-save shutout in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Golden Knights.
Comrie gave Connor Hellebuyck a breather in a tough locale and then proceeded to steal the show. This was the fourth shutout of Comrie's career, two of which have come this season as he continues to play well in the backup role for the Jets. The 29-year-old is now 9-9-1 with a 2.36 GAA and a .914 save percentage over 19 appearances, which matches his career high. He'll likely get another start or two over the Jets' final six regular-season games to help keep Hellebuyck fresh for the playoffs. He needs one more appearance and two more wins to set career highs in each category.

Jets' Eric Comrie: Expected to start Thursday
Comrie is set to start on the road against Vegas on Thursday, per Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press.
Comrie has an 8-9-1 record, 2.49 GAA and .909 save percentage across 18 appearances in 2024-25. He's used primarily when Winnipeg wants to give Connor Hellebuyck a breather, and Comrie consequently appeared in just three March games. The 29-year-old Comrie is drawing a tough assignment against the Golden Knights, who rank fifth in the NHL in goals per game with 3.39.

Jets' Eric Comrie: With team on road trip
Comrie (personal) was on the ice for the morning skate, per Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press, which indicates he'll be available to back up Connor Hellebuyck against the Kings on Tuesday.
Comrie was reported to have stayed in Winnipeg while awaiting the birth of his child, but he'll seemingly be available Tuesday after joining the team on the ice in Los Angeles. Chris Driedger was brought up from AHL Manitoba on Monday in the event that Comrie was unavailable in the short term, so Winnipeg had a backup plan in place behind Connor Hellebuyck.

Jets' Eric Comrie: Staying back in Winnipeg
Comrie is going to remain in Winnipeg ahead of Tuesday's road game versus the Kings for the birth of his child, Murat Ates of The Athletic reports.
With Comrie unavailable to serve as the backup against Los Angeles, the Jets recalled Chris Driedger from AHL Manitoba on Monday. The team didn't immediately provide an update on whether Comrie would rejoin the team later in its three-game road trip, but with no back-to-backs on the short-term schedule, he may not miss any starts regardless.

Jets' Eric Comrie: Subpar showing Sunday
Comrie stopped 12 of 16 shots in Sunday's 5-3 loss to the Sabres.
Comrie had won his previous two starts, but he wasn't able to extend that run, and he delivered a subpar showing in this contest by any standard you want to look at it. This was the first game he posted a save percentage below the .860 mark -- it's not like he's been having a woeful season, so fantasy managers shouldn't overreact to just one bad game from a backup netminder. Depending on how the playoff race shakes out, Comrie should get at least one or two more starts before the end of the regular season, though his workload is likely to depend on how the Jets want to approach giving Connor Hellebuyck rest heading into the postseason.

Jets' Eric Comrie: Gets overtime win Sunday
Comrie stopped 14 of 15 shots in Sunday's 3-2 overtime win over the Kraken.
Comrie didn't play the full game -- he was pulled by the concussion spotter during the first period, but he was ultimately cleared to return to the ice. Connor Hellebuyck allowed a goal on six shots while Comrie was getting checked out, and while the Jets struggled in the first period, they buckled down to get the win in overtime. Comrie has won four of his last five outings, allowing a total of seven goals in those games. He's now at an 8-8-1 record with a 2.39 GAA and a .914 save percentage through 17 appearances. The 29-year-old typically doesn't see enough of a workload to be on fantasy rosters, but he can be streamed pretty much any time he's tabbed to start. The Jets don't have any back-to-back sets over the next week, so it's unclear when his next game action will be.

Jets' Eric Comrie: Fourth win in last five starts
Comrie made 21 saves in a 4-1 win over Philadelphia on Thursday.
He came within 2:42 of his second shutout of the season. Comrie is 4-1-0 with one shutout and just eight goals allowed in his last five games. He's a strong spot start option for the rest of the season. Connor Hellebuyck needs to be strong for the postseason, something he wasn't last year. So, Comrie will step into the blue paint for Winnipeg a bit more often as the regular season winds down.

Jets' Eric Comrie: Starting in Philadelphia
Comrie will guard the visiting net in Philadelphia on Thursday, according to John Lu of TSN.
Comrie will get a rare start as Connor Hellebuyck has started 47 of 62 games heading into action Thursday. Comrie is 6-8-1 with a 2.56 GAA and a .912 save percentage over 15 starts this season. The Flyers are generating 2.89 goals per game, 17th in the league this season.

Jets' Eric Comrie: Steady in loss
Comrie allowed two goals on 30 shots in Thursday's 2-1 loss to the Predators.
Comrie's three-game winning streak came to a close. This was the first time since Jan. 10-11 that the Jets have been involved in a back-to-back -- Comrie's last four starts (3-1-0) came with at least a day between games. The 29-year-old netminder has done alright in a light-duty backup role, going 6-8-1 with a 2.56 GAA and a .911 save percentage across 15 appearances. The Jets are back home for a game Saturday versus the Flyers, but their next back-to-back is March 6 and 7 versus the Flyers and Devils, respectively, so Comrie shouldn't have to wait very long for his next start.

Comrie will get the second half of a back-to-back after Connor Hellebuyck was in goal for Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Senators. Comrie has won his last three outings, allowing five goals on 75 shots in that span. The 29-year-old has a favorable matchup Thursday -- the Predators have scored just 13 goals over their last six games.

Jets' Eric Comrie: Prevails in shootout
Comrie allowed three goals on 24 shots in Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over the Blues.
Comrie has been streaky in limited action this season, earning a pair of three-game winning streaks and eight losses in between them. He's now 6-7-1 with a 2.59 GAA and a .910 save percentage over 14 appearances. The 29-year-old got the start Saturday in St. Louis since Connor Hellebuyck went from Boston to Winnipeg for rest after leading Team USA to a second-place finish at the 4 Nations Face-Off. Assuming Hellebuyck is ready to play Monday versus the Sharks, Comrie is likely to be back in the backup role, while Kaapo Kahkonen should be heading to AHL Manitoba in short order. Comrie should get another start soon -- the Jets have a road back-to-back this week, with stops in Ottawa on Wednesday and Nashville on Thursday.

Jets' Eric Comrie: Shuts out Canes
Comrie stopped all 29 shots he faced in Tuesday's 3-0 win over Carolina.
This was easily Comrie's best performance of the season, as he had given up two or more goals in each of his previous 12 appearances. The 29-year-old netminder is now sporting a 5-7-1 record and 2.57 GAA in 13 outings. Despite the recent success, Comrie shouldn't be expected to see many starts outside of back-to-backs behind workhorse backstop Connor Hellebuyck.
