  • Avalanche's Ryan Lindgren: Sends helper in Game 1 win

Lindgren notched an assist, four hits and two PIM in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Stars in Game 1. Lindgren returned from an upper-body injury that cost him the final three games of the regular season. Lindgren's helper on Nathan MacKinnon's empty-netter in the third period snapped his eight-game slump. The 27-year-old Lindgren isn't much of a factor offensively, having earned a career-high 22 points with 63 shots on net, 80 hits, 128 blocked shots, 40 PIM and an even plus-minus rating over 72 regular-season appearances between the Avalanche and the Rangers in 2024-25. The veteran defenseman will add a physical presence in a bottom-four role for the playoffs.

Lindgren had four goals, 22 points, 40 PIM, 80 hits and 128 blocks in 72 regular-season outings between the Rangers and Colorado in 2024-25. He missed the final three outings of the regular season due to the injury, but he's projected to begin the playoffs serving on the third pairing alongside Josh Manson, who is returning from an upper-body injury.

Lindgren (upper body) will not travel with the team for its final two-game road trip this weekend, Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette reports Friday. Lindgren will end the regular season with four goals, 18 assists, 128 blocked shots and 80 hits in 72 games split between the Rangers and Colorado this season.

Lindgren (upper body) will miss Thursday's clash versus Vancouver, per Aarif Deen of Colorado Hockey Now. Lindgren suffered the injury Tuesday against the Golden Knights. • Avalanche's Ryan Lindgren: Finds twine Saturday

Lindgren scored a goal, had two shots on net and blocked two shots in Saturday's 5-4 shootout win against Montreal. Lindgren's tally was just over ten minutes into the first period and gave Colorado an early 2-0 lead. It was his second goal with the Avalanche and his fourth of the season, which ties the career high that he set in the 2021-22 campaign. Overall, Lindgren has 22 points, 53 shots on goal and 118 blocks in 64 appearances this season. Since he was acquired from the Rangers via trade March 1, Lindgren has seen just under 20 minutes of ice time per game as a part of Colorado's second defensive pairing. He sees a good chunk of opportunities at even strength but lacks the ceiling that other defenders have offensively in fantasy.

Lindgren scored a goal on two shots, added two PIM, logged two hits, blocked three shots and went plus-3 in Friday's 4-2 win over the Flames. Lindgren had a strong all-around effort in the contest. The 27-year-old could also see more minutes moving forward after Josh Manson (upper body) left the contest after two periods. Lindgren has two points over his last four outings and is up to 21 points, 50 shots on net, 62 hits, 111 blocked shots, 38 PIM and a plus-5 rating over 60 appearances between the Rangers and the Avalanche this season. He'll continue to fill a shutdown role in Colorado's top four.

  • Avalanche's Ryan Lindgren: First point with new team

Lindgren logged an assist and two shots on goal in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Maple Leafs. The helper was Lindgren's first point in three games since he was traded from the Rangers. The 27-year-old has formed an ultra-physical shutdown pairing with Josh Manson, playing in a bottom-four role. The Avalanche's defense runs pretty deep, so Lindgren is likely to lose a couple of minutes per game compared to the 19:56 he averaged with the Rangers this season as Adam Fox's primary defensive partner. Lindgren is at 20 points, 45 shots on net, 60 hits, 103 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over 57 appearances in the highest-scoring season of his career.

  • Avalanche's Ryan Lindgren: Heading to Colorado

Lingren was traded from the Rangers to the Avalanche on Saturday along with Jimmy Vesey in exchange for Juuso Parssinen, Calvin de Haan and a pair of draft picks, Pierre LeBrun of TSN reports. Lindgren had been considered a trade candidate for much of the season, and he'll now join Colorado as the Rangers continue to re-tool. The 27-year-old Lindgren has seen a decline in defensive production this season, though he's tallied a career-high 19 points (two goals, 17 assists) through 54 games.

The left-shot blueliner is up to two goals, 17 points, 34 PIM, 39 shots on goal, 57 hits and 99 blocked shots through 52 outings. • Rangers' Ryan Lindgren: Contributes helper

Lindgren notched an assist, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Penguins. Lindgren is now at 14 points, 35 shots on net, 89 blocked shots, 56 hits, 34 PIM and a minus-3 rating through 49 appearances. He's on pace for a career high in points -- his current high-water mark is 18 over 63 games in 2022-23. While his offense is up, the 26-year-old has sacrificed some physicality, keeping him at the level of a marginal fantasy option.

  • Rangers' Ryan Lindgren: Puts away goal

Lindgren scored a goal, blocked three shots and added two PIM in Monday's 5-3 loss to the Panthers. Lindgren has a point in back-to-back games for the first time this season. This is unlikely to be the start of a big run of offense for the 26-year-old defenseman -- he can chip in a few points but rarely finds sustained success. He's now at two goals, four assists, 25 shots on net, 22 PIM, 43 hits and 53 blocked shots over 31 appearances this season in a top-four role.

  • Rangers' Ryan Lindgren: Puts up assist in loss

Lindgren notched an assist, three hits and two blocked shots in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Hurricanes. Lindgren was reunited with Adam Fox at even strength Wednesday after a few weeks alongside Jacob Trouba on a pairing that wasn't cutting the mustard defensively. Lindgren has picked up two helpers over his last four outings, but that isn't the norm for the ultra-physical defenseman. He's at three points, 14 shots on net, 12 PIM, 25 hits and 30 blocked shots over 16 appearances this season.
