  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Suffers injury at Worlds

Reichel, who was playing for Germany in the 2025 IIHF World Championship, will miss the remainder of the tournament due to an undisclosed injury, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports Wednesday. Reichel had an impressive four points (one goal) in three outings before being forced to exit the tournament. His injury isn't believed to be too serious, so the 22-year-old will probably be fine for the start of Chicago's training camp. He finished the 2024-25 campaign with eight goals and 22 points across 70 outings, but he does have offensive upside, as his brief stint at Worlds demonstrated.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Finds twine Monday

Reichel scored a goal on two shots in Monday's 4-3 shootout win over the Canadiens. Reichel had been scratched for three of the previous five games, but he was in the lineup Monday since Patrick Maroon played his final game at home Saturday versus the Jets. Reichel ended a six-game point drought with his goal. The 22-year-old winger has a career-best eight goals and 22 points over 69 outings, but he's failed to take a larger step up on offense in a bottom-six role. He's contributed just 72 shots on net and also has a minus-15 rating.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Tacks on goal

Reichel scored a goal in Sunday's 7-4 win over the Flyers. Reichel has two goals and three assists over 12 contests in March. The 22-year-old remains in a fourth-line role, but he appears to be making a little progress in finding consistency on offense. For the season, he's at seven goals, 21 points, 65 shots on net and a minus-9 rating through 62 outings overall, improving on his 16-point performance from 65 games a year ago.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Posts helper in loss

Reichel notched an assist in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to the Kraken. Reichel ended his six-game point drought by assisting on a Tyler Bertuzzi tally in the first period. The 22-year-old Reichel remains in a fourth-line role, and while he saw 14:48 of ice time Tuesday, that hasn't been the norm lately. He reached the 20-point mark for the first time with the helper, and he's added 61 shots on net, 25 blocked shots, 23 hits and a minus-9 rating over 59 appearances. Reichel is looking less like a future fantasy star and more like a bottom-six regular who can chip in depth scoring and take power-play time.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Earns two points in win

Reichel scored a goal, dished a power-play assist and blocked two shots in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Ducks. Reichel returned to the lineup after a two-game stint as a healthy scratch to fill in for Philipp Kurashev (hand). Reichel snapped his four-game point drought with a primary helper on Patrick Maroon's second-period goal before scoring the game-winner in the third. The 22-year-old Reichel is up 57 shots on net and a career-high 18 points (six goals, 12 assists) through 51 appearances this season. It's not the long-awaited breakout many have expected from the 2020 first-rounder, but it is progress after he needed 65 games to earn 16 points a year ago. His tally Saturday was also his first career game-winner.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Deposits goal

Reichel scored a goal on two shots in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Oilers. Reichel has two goals and three assists across his last 10 outings. The 22-year-old scored late in the second period to tie Wednesday's contest at 1-1. Reichel is up to five goals and 16 points through 46 games this season, exactly matching his production from 65 appearances last year. He's added 52 shots on net and a minus-7 rating while mainly seeing bottom-six usage, which makes him a risky option in fantasy.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Bags apple in overtime loss

Reichel notched an assist in Friday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Lightning. Reichel helped out on Louis Crevier's second-period tally. The 22-year-old Reichel has three points over his last five contests and looks to have regained some stability in the lineup as a bottom-six option. He centered the third line Friday but saw just 11:32 of ice time, though the Blackhawks' trade of Taylor Hall to the Hurricanes leaves them with no healthy extra forwards on the roster currently. Reichel is 14 points, 49 shots on net and a minus-5 rating over 41 appearances.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Scores in win Saturday

Reichel scored a goal in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Golden Knights. Reichel has struggled to produce points at a consistent rate this season, but he's done it in two of his last three outings, so he's heating up a bit with the All-Star break right around the corner. That said, Reichel has notched just five points (two goals, three assists) across his last 20 games, so he isn't expected to be a reliable fantasy option in most formats, especially considering his bottom-six role.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Garners assist Monday

Reichel registered an assist and two PIM in Monday's 5-2 loss to Calgary. Reichel's spot in the lineup has been at risk in January -- this was just his third appearance over six games this month. He was on a line with Frank Nazar and Colton Dach, which could be a good unit for Chicago to keep together, though they're all young players who could benefit from shifts with a veteran at times. Reichel is now at 12 points, 44 shots on net and a minus-6 rating through 37 appearances this season, mainly in a bottom-six role, though he has retained a spot on the second power-play unit.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Slings helper

Reichel notched an assist in Monday's 4-3 loss to the Wild. Reichel set up a Jason Dickinson tally late in the third period. The helper ended Reichel's nine-game point drought, during which he went minus-5 with just three shots on net. A fourth-line role won't help him get his scoring on track, though he's had a little success there at times. For the season, the 22-year-old has 10 points, 39 shots on net and a minus-5 rating through 31 appearances, a pace that would at least give him career highs in games played and points.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Pots lone goal in loss

Reichel scored a goal on two shots in Monday's 4-1 loss to the Maple Leafs. Reichel continues to play as the fourth-line center, though a power-play role has allowed him to carve out a little more ice time. He has three points and 12 shots on net over his last five contests. For the season, the 22-year-old forward is at three goals, six helpers, 36 shots on net, 12 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating over 21 appearances.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Collects two points Saturday

Reichel notched a goal and an assist in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to Philadelphia. Reichel's second multi-point performance of 2024-25 gave the Blackhawks a 2-0 lead going into the third period. However, the Flyers scored three straight goals afterward to claim the victory. Reichel also had a team-high five shots on net in Saturday's defeat. He has two goals and eight points through 17 outings this season.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Generates power-play helper

Reichel notched a power-play assist and two PIM in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Ducks. Reichel has a helper in consecutive contests after assisting on a Seth Jones tally in the second period. The 22-year-old Reichel continues to see limited minutes at even strength, but he's playing on the power play to give him a little more scoring potential. He now has a goal, five assists, 16 shots on net and a plus-2 rating over nine appearances.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Finds twine in win

Reichel scored a goal in Monday's 5-2 win over the Avalanche. The goal was Reichel's first of the season. The 22-year-old was back in a fourth-line role Monday after threatening to move up over the weekend, though he also remains in the power-play mix. Despite limited minutes, he's done fairly well so far, earning four points, 11 shots on net, three hits, four blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over six contests since he entered the lineup Oct. 17.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Buries goal Thursday

Reichel scored a goal in Thursday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Kings. Reichel showed some life late in the season with two goals and three assists over the last nine contests. His tally Thursday opened the scoring. He wraps up with 16 points, 84 shots on net and a minus-29 rating over 65 appearances, mainly in a middle-six role. At 21 years old, there's still time for Reichel to get his scoring touch on track at the NHL level, and he'll have every chance to make the Blackhawks' roster out of training camp in the fall.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Sent to AHL

Reichel was reassigned to AHL Rockford on Sunday. Reichel had been a healthy scratch for Chicago's last two games after going 20 games without a goal, tallying just three assists in that span. Reichel, a first-round pick in 2020, will now head to the AHL to continue his development. The 21-year-old winger has three goals and 10 points in 50 NHL games this season.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Nabs helper Tuesday

Reichel posted an assist in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Canucks. Reichel went eight games without a point and was scratched twice in that span. The 21-year-old has been limited to bottom-six usage lately as the Blackhawks try to get him to take the next step at the NHL level. He's earned a paltry 10 points with 63 shots on net and a minus-28 rating over 50 appearances in his first full campaign.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Scores in Tuesday's win

Reichel scored a goal on three shots and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Avalanche. Reichel snapped an eight-game point drought with the first-period marker. He looked solid throughout the contest, which saw him take multiple shots on net for the first time since Dec. 2. The 21-year-old winger hasn't had much success in 2023-24, posting three goals, four assists, 44 shots on net, 10 PIM and a minus-19 rating over 30 appearances.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Sitting with one point

Reichel has recorded one point, 23 shots and six blocks in 11 games this season. Reichel has been getting opportunities with the man advantage, logging 1:50 of ice time per game on the power play, but he's continued to struggle to produce offensively. If the young winger doesn't start finding the scoresheet soon, he could see himself dropped from the top six in favor of veterans Taylor Hall or Tyler Johnson.

  • Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Scores in loss

Reichel scored a goal on five shots in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Canucks. Reichel cut Chicago's deficit to 3-2 late in the third period, stuffing a loose puck past Collin Delia. The 20-year-old Reichel now has five goals and nine points in 17 games this season. While he hasn't provided consistent scoring, the 2020 first-round pick should continue to see first-line usage in Chicago down the stretch.
