  • Tyler Angle: Signs with German club

Angle secured a one-year contract with Dusseldorfer EG (DEL) on Friday. Angle saw action in just two NHL games for the Blue Jackets last season in which he garnered five hits, one block and zero points while averaging 8:20 of ice time. That brings the winger's total NHL contests up to four, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that Columbus didn't re-sign him in the offseason. While he is just 23 years of age, Angle's move to Europe may still signal the end of his NHL playing career.
