    Analysis

    Texas is just 2-4 in its last six games but the eye test tells me they are playing better overall. Three of those losses came by five points or less. The Horns also have wins over Alabama and Vanderbilt in that span. I bet against Georgia on Tuesday and they hit a shot late against Missouri to beat us. However, I thought Missouri blew that game in the second half. Texas is one of the top free throw shooting teams in CBB and I expect them to kill Georgia on the offensive glass. That should be enough to get the win at home. I played the Texas ML -120 (Bet365). Take the ML or Longhorns on the spread up to -2.5.

    Analysis

    Have to love our Discord folks. They were talking up Purdue on Saturday already. It got me looking into this early and I agree with them that this is too low (it's going up for sure) considering Illinois remains without one of its best players in injured guard Kylan Boswell (14.3 PPG, 4.2 RPG, 3.4 APG). Some books will post early big-game Saturday hoops lines now, which they didn't used to. Had to wait until around 5 ET on Fridays. Trust me, I know. I had to send out odds forever and my weekend could never start until those were posted. This is why competition is good among sportsbooks.

    Analysis

    TCU has lost three straight heartbreakers on the road, but the Horned Frogs could end that skid here. Baylor is not as tough a place to play as it has been in recent years. The Bears, who fell 69-63 in Fort Worth, have dropped three straight home games, all by double digits. While TCU might not be on the level of those opponents, the Horned Frogs are 5-1 ATS when getting points this season.

    Believe only goes up and part of the reason I want to play this is the absurdity of the Tide's Charles Bediako being ruled immediately eligible. I don't begrudge anyone for trying to make bank -- and I assure you he got a great NIL deal -- but this is utterly ridiculous. Dude played college hoops last in 2023. This is the first time a player who entered an NBA draft and signed an NBA contract after playing college basketball has been given the chance to return. He's a really good player and could lead the Tide to the Final Four if stays eligible. I'm trying to find out my eligibility (wasn't remotely as good). LeBron to Ohio State? Where does this end?

    Analysis

    When I make my Same Game Parlays closer to Sunday, I’ll probably buy this number up a few points just to be safe. That’s always a betting philosophy I advise with SGPs. Regardless, with two excellent defenses and Denver starting a backup quarterback, I just can’t see this one turning into a Broncos-Bills type of shootout. I would’ve probably leaned Denver at home with a healthy Bo Nix, but it’s hard to imagine Jarrett Stidham pulling a Jeff Hostetler (see the 1990 Giants) and leading his team to the Super Bowl. Both of these teams have skated by with relatively easy schedules this season. This time, the Nix injury benefits New England significantly. Patriots 21, Broncos 13.
