Royals' Mark Canha: Collides with wall, exits game
Canha was removed from Tuesday's game against the Twins due to left hip soreness, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports
Canha ran into the outfield wall while attempting to catch a fly ball in the fifth inning. He remained in the game immediately after the incident but was replaced on defense when the Royals took the field in the top of the sixth. The severity of his injury remains unknown, but fantasy managers can consider him day-to-day for the time being.

Pablo Lopez SP | MIN
Twins' Pablo Lopez: Exits with undisclosed injury
Lopez left Tuesday's start against Kansas City in the fifth inning after a visit from the trainer to the mound.
Lopez was able to walk off under his own power and his injury isn't clear though he was grabbing at his leg before departing. Lopez was pitching well before departing by allowing just one unearned run over 4.2 innings with six strikeouts.

Bennett Sousa RP | HOU
Astros' Bennett Sousa: Returning to big leagues
The Astros will recall Sousa from Triple-A Sugar Land.
Sousa won't be available for Tuesday's game against Seattle, but he's in line to join Houston's bullpen to replace Rafael Montero, who was traded to Atlanta. Sousa missed all of last season due to thoracic outlet surgery but has looked good in four Triple-A outings this year, allowing two hits and no walks while striking out five batters across five shutout frames.

Rafael Montero RP | HOU
Braves' Rafael Montero: Shipped to Atlanta
The Astros traded Montero and cash to Atlanta on Tuesday in exchange for a player to be named later.
Montero has made three appearances out of the bullpen so far this season, giving up two earned runs while striking out five batters across four innings. Now in Atlanta, the 34-year-old reliever will likely remain in the major-league bullpen, but he isn't expected to see many high-leverage opportunities.

Oscar Gonzalez RF | SD
Padres' Oscar Gonzalez: Called up Tuesday
Gonzalez was called up from Triple-A El Paso on Tuesday.
Gonzalez will replace Jackson Merrill (hamstring) on the 26-man roster after Merrill was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a right hamstring strain. Gonzalez has produced a .290 average with three home runs, seven RBI, seven runs scored and a stolen base over 31 at-bats in seven games with El Paso so far this season. The 27-year-old will provide San Diego with another depth option in the outfield with Merrill unavailable.

Ryan Mountcastle 1B | BAL
Orioles' Ryan Mountcastle: Sitting Tuesday
Mountcastle isn't in the lineup Tuesday against Arizona.
Mountcastle will get a chance to catch his breath Tuesday after going 6-for-12 with two RBI and three runs scored across his last three games. Ryan O'Hearn will fill in as the Orioles' first baseman while Adley Rutschman serves as the DH, giving Gary Sanchez a start behind the plate.

Jackson Merrill CF | SD
Padres' Jackson Merrill: Headed to injured list
The Padres placed Merrill on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a right hamstring strain.
Merrill's hamstring has kept him out of the lineup since Monday, and he hasn't been recovering as quickly as the team would like. In an effort to prioritize his long-term health, the Padres will now send the young outfielder to the injured list to give him ample time to recover and ensure his hamstring doesn't remain an issue for the rest of the season. Oscar Gonzalez was recalled from Triple-A El Paso in a corresponding move.

Jose Iglesias SS | SD
Padres' Jose Iglesias: First career start in outfield
Iglesias is starting in left field and batting seventh against the Athletics on Tuesday.
Iglesias has never started in the outfield during his professional career, so Tuesday will be a first for the 35-year-old. With three of the Padres' possible left fielders on the bench because a lefty is on the mound and Brandon Lockridge starting in center due to Jackson Merrill's hamstring injury, the door has opened for Iglesias to head to left field.
