Shaw signed a one-year, two-way contract Thursday.
Shaw has four goals and seven points in nine contests with AHL Iowa this season. He also has seven markers and 17 points in 62 career NHL games. Shaw is expected to practice with the Wild on Friday, but it's not clear when he might make his NHL season debut. If and when he does, it will likely be in a bottom-six capacity.
