Miami Dolphins rookie QB Ryan Tannehill continued his streak of impressive play as Miami cruised to a 24-10 win over Buffalo on Sunday at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla.

But Miami (7-8, 2-3 AFC East) saw its playoff hopes end less than an hour later when the Bengals beat Pittsburgh, 13-10. But a chance at a .500 record is impressive for a team many analysts picked to finish with the worst record in the league. Buffalo (5-10, 1-4 AFC East) had no answer for the eighth-overall pick in April's draft as Tannehill was 13 of 25 passes for 130 yards with two touchdowns and no turnovers.

Offense: B

The Dolphins again relied on a punishing rushing attack as the offensive line paved the way for 182 yards and a touchdown on 35 carries. Offensive coordinator Mike Sherman made a point to get RB Reggie Bush the ball as the veteran had 107 total yards and three touchdowns on 23 touches. Sherman also heavily utilized the read-option as Tannehill finished with 44 yards on six carries to give the attack another dimension. Previous game's grade: C

Defense: B

This unit continued to build on a string of solid performances by forcing four turnovers. Not bad for a defense that had one turnover the previous seven games. The Bills had 381 yards, but much of it came in garbage time after Miami built a three-touchdown lead. DE Cameron Wake set a career-high with his 15th sack of the season. Previous game's grade: A

Special teams: C

It was another mediocre week in the kicking game. K Nate Kaeding made 1 of 2 field goals after K Dan Carpenter was put on IR this week with a groin injury. The lone miss was a blocked kick due to poor protection. RB Marcus Thigpen averaged 13 yards on two punt returns and 25 yards on two kickoff returns. P Brandon Fields put two kicks inside the Buffalo 20-yard line. Previous game's grade: C

Coaching: B

Sherman again got creative with the way he utilized his playmakers and defensive coordinator Kevin Coyle went with a lot of man-to-man calls after using a zone-heavy scheme last week. The ability of both coaches to mix up their schemes allowed the Dolphins to post an easy win. But coach Joe Philbin must find a way to motivate his team for next week at New England after they were eliminated from playoff contention. Previous game's grade: B
