  • Dolphins' Willie Gay: Headed to Miami

Gay signed a one-year deal with the Dolphins on Wednesday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

After signing with the Dolphins, Gay will play for his third team in just as many years in 2025. The Mississippi State product appeared in 15 games with the Saints in 2024, recording 28 total tackles, including 2.0 sacks, three passes defended and one forced fumble across 259 defensive snaps. He's likely to compete for a depth role in Miami's linebacker corps throughout the summer.

  • Dolphins' Artie Burns: Inks deal with Miami

The Dolphins signed Burns to a one-year deal Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The 2016 first-round pick is returning home, having been born and raised in Miami before spending three years at the University of Miami. Burns saw limited action in 2024, appearing in just four games for the Seahawks and recording four total tackles and three passes defended across 105 total snaps (50 defensive, 55 on special teams). The eight-year NFL veteran is now expected to compete for a special-teams role and provide depth in the Dolphins secondary throughout the summer.

  • Dolphins' Ryan Stonehouse: Secures deal with Miami

The Dolphins are signing Stonehouse, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Stonehouse will reunite with new Dolphins special teams coordinator Craig Aukerman after the pair worked together for nearly two seasons in Tennessee in 2022 and a portion of 2023. Stonehouse led the NFL in yards per punt during each of those two regular seasons and ranked third in the league last year. His signing suggests that incumbent Dolphins punter Jake Bailey is likely on his way out of Miami.

  • Dolphins' Pharaoh Brown: Lands in Miami

The Dolphins signed Brown to a contract Friday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

Brown is an experienced veteran tight end with proven capabilities as a rotational blocker. He handled such a role across 15 regular-season appearances with the Seahawks in 2024, averaging 16.3 offensive snaps per game while drawing only 12 total targets. That skillset fills an area of need for Miami, with Durham Smythe having departed for Chicago in free agency.

  • Dolphins' Liam Eichenberg: Back with Miami

The Dolphins re-signed Eichenberg to a one-year contract Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Eichenberg appeared in all 17 regular-season games for the Dolphins last season, making 14 starts. He played all 1,036 of his offensive snaps at right guard. Miami signed RG James Daniels in free agency earlier in the week, but both he and Eichenberg have experience along the interior of the offensive line. Fixing the offensive line is a priority for the Dolphins this offseason.
