The Giants signed Koehn to a reserve/future contract Monday, Dan Duggan of NJ.com reports.
Koehn previously worked out for the Giants in mid-November, but ultimately wasn't signed to the roster after the team elected to stick with rookie Aldrick Rosas as its kicker. While he suited up for all 16 games, Rosas didn't find much success, converting just 18 of 25 field-goal attempts (72 percent) and 20 of 23 extra-point tries. Look for Koehn, who made his lone extra-point attempt while serving as the Bengals' kicker for one game in 2017, to compete with Rosas throughout the offseason.

Koehn did all that was asked of him in Week 9, making his lone extra-point attempt, but Randy Bullock (back) is apparently ready to go for Sunday's game against the Titans, despite being listed as questionable. The 25-year-old could end up on the practice squad if he clear waivers, and could potentially have some tryouts later this season if any other teams suffer from kicker issues or injuries.

Koehn's NFL debut was an uneventful one, but he still got the job done the one time he was called upon. With Randy Bullock's (back) status uncertain, it remains to be seen whether Koehn will assume the team's kicking duties in Week 10 versus the Titans.

Bengals' Marshall Koehn: Handling Week 9 kicking duties
Koehn will serve as the Bengals' kicker Sunday against the Jaguars with Randy Bullock (back) inactive for the contest, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Since Bullock's back injury isn't believed to be a long-term concern, Koehn, who the Bengals signed Saturday, may only be in store for a one-game stint with the club. Sunday's appearance will mark Koehn's NFL debut after the 25-year-old was unable to win a roster spot with either the Dolphins and Vikings coming out of training camp the past two seasons.

Koehn was signed by the Bengals on Saturday.
The signing probably means that usual kicker Randy Bullock (back) will be inactive Sunday, though that has yet to be confirmed, Jay Morrison of the Dayton Daily News reports. Koehn has yet to play in an NFL game after leaving Iowa after the 2015-16 season, where he completed 16 of 20 field goals, including seven 40-yarders and one 50-yarder.

Koehn was released by the Vikings on Saturday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Koehn certainly gave Kai Forbath a run for his money this summer, but the veteran ultimately won the job battle. Koehn showed potential in the preseason, though, namely nailing a 58-yarder in the third exhibition. It wouldn't be a shock if he resurfaced at some point this season for any team that has any issues at place kicker.

Koehn converted a 58-yard field goal but missed a 47-yard field goal attempt, in Sunday's preseason win over the 49ers. He remains in a tight battle with Kai Forbath for Minnesota's kicking job.
He was given kicking duties for the game with Forbath given the night off. Forbath will work the final preseason game with Koehn sitting out. Koehn showed off his strong leg with the 58-yard conversion, but the 47-yard miss may cause him to lose the job.

However, it's hard to see the Vikings giving the job to Koehn, who hasn't kicked in regular-season NFL game, over a veteran. Plus, Forbath made all 15 field-goal attempts last season. Still, it sounds like this job battle may not be decided until late in training camp.

Koehn is battling with incumbent Andrew Franks for the kicking job. While Franks, who was 13-of-16 last season with the Dolphins, certainly has a leg up, Koehn made a good showing on Thursday night while Franks missed his only attempt. Look for this kicking battle to come down to the final preseason game.
