Broncos' Troy Franklin: Gets into end zone Thursday
Franklin brought in five of nine targets for 40 yards and a touchdown in the Broncos' 10-7 win over the Raiders on Thursday night.
Franklin was the only Broncos player to get into the end zone Thursday, making a tough seven-yard touchdown grab late in the first half. The second-year wideout also led Denver in receptions and targets, and his recent ascension in the passing offense has been impossible to ignore -- Franklin has 37 targets over the last four games alone. The Oregon product should be busy again in Week 11, as the Chiefs pay the Broncos a visit on Sunday, Nov. 16 for a critical divisional showdown.

Broncos' Troy Franklin: Does little with big target volume
Franklin caught four of 10 targets for 27 yards and lost four rushing yards on two carries in Sunday's 18-15 win over the Texans. He added a two-point conversion.
The second-year wideout was Bo Nix's top option on the day in terms of targets, but Franklin had trouble getting open against a stingy Houston secondary. It's the second time in the last three weeks Franklin's gotten double-digit looks from his college teammate Nix, and on the season he's put together a 37-385-4 line on 64 targets, making him more of a 1B alongside Courtland Sutton than the Broncos' No. 2 receiver. Franklin should find more room to operate in Week 10 against the Raiders.

Broncos' Troy Franklin: Leading receiver with two TDs
Franklin had six receptions on eight targets for 89 yards and a pair of touchdowns in Sunday's 44-24 win over the Cowboys.
Franklin matched his previous season highs in receptions (eight) and yards (89) set back in Week 2, but he usurped that fantasy score by hitting pay dirt twice in Week 8. The second-year wideout finished below 20 receiving yards in three out of the five contests in between his standout performances, highlighting his volatility as a fantasy asset on a week-to-week basis. Managers should be wary of Franklin's downside before starting him ahead of more-proven options in a tough matchup against the Texans next Sunday.

Broncos' Troy Franklin: Hits paydirt against Giants
Franklin caught three of 10 targets for 19 yards and one touchdown in Sunday's 33-32 win over the Giants.
Franklin finished the contest tied for the team lead in targets with fellow wideout Courtland Sutton, with the 10 targets being a season high for the 22-year-old. Despite the increased involvement, Franklin struggled to connect with quarterback Bo Nix, and his touchdown early in the fourth quarter was actually a tipped pass intended for Sutton that Franklin was able secure in the back of the end zone. The Oregon product has been mostly underwhelming as a fantasy option for the past month, but his role as Denver's No. 2 wide receiver has earned him 46 targets through seven games. As long as he continues to see that kind of volume, Franklin will at least be a viable option for fantasy managers dealing with bye weeks. Next up for the Broncos is a home matchup against the Cowboys and their struggling pass defense.

Broncos' Troy Franklin: Fumble erases low output Sunday
Franklin brought in three of four targets for 19 yards and a lost fumble while taking one carry for two yards in Sunday's 13-11 win over the Jets.
Franklin's day in London got off to a rubbish start when he coughed up the first fumble of his career on his first reception of the contest. The silver lining for fantasy managers was that the wideout remained involved offensively following the turnover, receiving three more touches in the narrow win. Franklin has shown flashes of upside early in his sophomore campaign, but Sunday's dud is an example of the inconsistency he can exhibit. The 22-year-old's value is likely limited to deeper formats in next Sunday's tilt against the Giants.
