Chargers' Ladd McConkey: Remains limited Thursday
McConkey (knee/shoulder) remained limited at practice Thursday.
McConkey, who was inactive for this past Sunday's 19-17 loss to the Chiefs, also was limited Wednesday, and unless he practices fully Friday, the wideout figures to approach this weekend's game against the Buccaneers with an injury designation. If McConkey isn't available versus Tampa Bay, fellow WRs Quentin Johnston and Joshua Palmer would be in line to see added pass-catching opportunities Week 15.

Chargers' Ladd McConkey: Still limited at practice
McConkey (knee/shoulder) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday.
After he was limited in practice throughout Week 14 while tending to an AC joint sprain in his shoulder as well as a sprained knee, McConkey was inactive for this past Sunday's 19-17 loss to the Chiefs. While he didn't take a step forward in terms of activity to begin Week 15 prep, he'll still have two more chances to practice fully before the Chargers release their final injury report Friday. If the rookie wideout isn't cleared to play Sunday against the Buccaneers, more opportunities in the passing game would open up for fellow receivers Quentin Johnston and Joshua Palmer.

Chargers' Ladd McConkey: Inactive Sunday night
McConkey (knee/shoulder) is inactive for Sunday night's game against the Chiefs.
After being limited at practice Wednesday through Friday, McConkey was listed as questionable for the Chargers' Sunday evening tilt. With McConkey having been made inactive, Quentin Johnston, Joshua Palmer, Jalen Reagor, Derius Davis and DJ Chark are in line to handle the team's Week 14 wideout duties. McConkey's next chance to see game action will arrive Dec. 15 versus the Buccaneers.

Chargers' Ladd McConkey: Looking like game-time call Sunday
McConkey (knee/shoulder), who is questionable for Sunday's contest against Kansas City, will likely be a game-time decision, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
McConkey took a designation into the weekend after logging a trio of limited practices Wednesday through Friday while tending to a sprained knee and an AC joint injury in his shoulder. Not much has changed in terms of clarity about his likelihood of suiting up, and Rapoport suggests that the rookie wideout will have "right up to 90 minutes before" the 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff -- when the Chargers will need to announce their inactive list -- to get himself ready to play. Game-time calls are generally tough situations for fantasy managers, but McConkey's case is even more tricky given that the Chargers are playing in the Sunday night game. If McConkey doesn't suit up, wideouts Quentin Johnston and Joshua Palmer and tight end Will Dissly would be the primary candidates to draw the most attention from quarterback Justin Herbert.

Chargers' Ladd McConkey: Status in question for Week 14
McConkey (knee/shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Kansas City.
McConkey is tending to not only a longstanding AC joint sprain in his shoulder but a sprained knee that he suffered this past Sunday in Atlanta. The pair of health concerns capped his practice reps this week, but his status remains up in the air ahead of Week 14 action. With an 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff Sunday, fantasy managers may be in a bind if McConkey ends up inactive, and the current healthy wide receivers on the Chargers' active roster are Quentin Johnston, Joshua Palmer, Jalen Reagor, Derius Davis and DJ Chark.

Chargers' Ladd McConkey: Another limited practice
McConkey (knee/shoulder) remained limited at practice Thursday.
McConkey also was limited Wednesday, so he'll probably need to practice fully Friday in order to approach Sunday night's game against the Chiefs without an injury designation. Through 12 games to date, McConkey -- who has scored four TDs in that span -- paces the Chargers in catches (58), targets (81) and receiving yards (815), a level of production that will keep the 2024 second-rounder firmly on the Week 14 fantasy lineup radar, provided he's available.

Chargers' Ladd McConkey: Logs limited practice Wednesday
McConkey was listed as a limited participant at practice Wednesday due to shoulder and knee injuries.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, McConkey's shoulder injury is an AC joint sprain that has been an ongoing issue, while the knee injury is a sprain that the rookie wideout sustained late in Sunday's 17-13 win over the Falcons. While McConkey's ability to practice in some fashion to begin Week 14 prep is an encouraging sign, he's far from a lock to be cleared ahead of Sunday's game against the Chiefs. Ideally for fantasy managers, McConkey will practice fully by Friday and avoid taking a designation into the weekend. However, if McConkey is listed as questionable, it could put managers in a bind if he winds up inactive, as the Chargers and Chiefs won't kick off until 8:20 p.m. ET on Sunday. If McConkey ends up sitting out the Week 14 matchup, more reps would open up for starters Quentin Johnston and Joshua Palmer, as well as depth options like Jalen Reagor, DJ Chark and Derius Davis.

Chargers' Ladd McConkey: Expected to practice Wednesday
Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh said he expects McConkey (knee) to practice Wednesday, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
After a knee injury knocked out McConkey of Sunday's 17-13 win over Atlanta in the fourth quarter, Harbaugh said Monday that the rookie was "working through a couple things" and uncertain to practice this week. Any form of participation Wednesday would put McConkey on the right track to play Sunday against the Chiefs.

Chargers' Ladd McConkey: Uncertainty around knee injury
Coach Jim Harbaugh said Monday that McConkey (knee) is "working through a couple things," and it remains to be seen if he will practice this week, Kris Rhim of ESPN.com reports.
McConkey did all of the heavy lifting Sunday against the Falcons, securing nine of 12 targets for 117 yards, but he exited late with a knee injury and was unable to return. It's unclear if he's dealing with a day-to-day or week-to-week type of injury. McConkey should be considered questionable for next Sunday's AFC West bout with the Chiefs. If McConkey needs to miss time, the Chargers will roll with Quentin Johnston, Joshua Palmer, DJ Chark, Jalen Reagor and Derius Davis at wide receiver.

Chargers' Ladd McConkey: Injures knee Sunday
McConkey exited Sunday's 17-13 win over the Falcons with a knee injury.
Prior to his departure from the contest, McConkey caught nine of his 12 targets for 117 yards. Now that the wideout is dealing with a knee issue, his status will need to be monitored as next weekend's game against the Chiefs approaches. If McConkey ends up limited or out in Week 14, DJ Chark, Jalen Reagor and Derius Davis would be candidates to log added WR snaps behind Quentin Johnston and Joshua Palmer.
