The Bears elevated Harris to the active roster Saturday.
Harris joined the practice squad Tuesday and will make his Bears debut Sunday versus the Saints. The 33-year-old likely won't impact the offense much, but he'll have a chance to prove his punt-returning skills for a chance at another NFL contract.
