Seager went 2-for-3 with a walk, two RBI and a run scored in Thursday's 11-4 win over the Angels.
Seager posted multiple hits for a fourth straight game and extended his on-base streak to 15 contests. The shortstop has been on a heater, slashing .364/.500/.764 with six home runs, four doubles, 13 walks, 14 RBI and 17 runs during the streak. His revival coincides with a team-wide offensive renaissance. The Rangers are second in MLB with 63 runs scored during the month of July (nine games).

Seager went deep for the second consecutive game with his solo shot in the sixth inning. It was the shortstop's 13th of the season and sixth in the last 11 contests. The two-hit night extended a hit streak to 13 games, during which he's 16-for-48 (.333) with nine extra-base hits, 12 walks, 12 RBI, one steal and 15 runs scored.

Seager gave the Rangers an early lead with a two-run blast to center field in the first inning, and he reached twice more in the contest. The veteran shortstop has reached base in 12 consecutive contests and is batting .311 (14-for-45) with five homers, three doubles, 11 RBI, 13 runs and a stolen base over that span. Seager is at 12 homers on the campaign, so he'll need to pick up the pace in order to reach 30 long balls for a fourth straight season.

Seager gave the Rangers a 2-1 lead in the third inning with a 420-foot homer, marking his first time going deep in consecutive games this season. The shortstop appears to be heating up, hitting safely in six of his past seven contests with three homers, six RBI and six runs scored. While he's slashing a modest .243/.342/.418 with nine long balls, 20 RBI, 25 runs scored and one stolen base across 198 plate appearances, the 31-year-old's track record and .286 xBA point to better days ahead.

Seager was activated from the 10-day injured list Wednesday and was eased back into the lineup in a non-defensive role in his first game back. Despite tending to a calf injury late in spring training and having already landed on the IL on two occasions due to right hamstring strains, Seager has been the most productive hitter for a struggling Texas offense when he's been available, slashing .288/.333/.500 with six home runs in 27 games.

Rangers' Corey Seager: Officially activated
Seager (hamstring) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list ahead of Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays.
Seager has been idle since May 11 due to a right hamstring strain, and after a brief stint on the injured list, he's been cleared to rejoin the active roster. The Rangers optioned Blaine Crim to Triple-A Round Rock in a corresponding move. Seager is slashing .300/.346/.520 with six homers, 15 runs and 12 RBI over 107 plate appearances this season.

He faced live pitching over the weekend and was expected to be activated sometime during this series against Toronto. It was the second hamstring-related IL stint for Seager this season.
