Commanders' Jeff Driskel: Set as emergency QB again Sunday
Driskel (coach's decision) is inactive Sunday and will serve as Washington's emergency third quarterback versus Philadelphia in the NFC Championship Game, Zach Selby of the Commanders' official site reports.
Driskel has been the emergency QB throughout most of the season for the Commanders. The journeyman backup appeared in one game this season when he took one offensive snap Week 2 versus the Giants. He'll only be eligible to enter Sunday's game if both starting quarterback Jayden Daniels and primary backup Marcus Mariota are forced out with injury, illness or ejection.

Commanders' Jeff Driskel: Serving as emergency QB vs. Lions
Driskel (coach's decision) is inactive Saturday and will serve as Washington's emergency third quarterback against Detroit in the NFC divisional round, Zach Selby of the Commanders' official site reports.
This is a familiar role for Driskel, as he has consistently been inactive as Washington's emergency QB on gamedays. He's gotten into only one contest on the campaign, taking one offensive snap as the backup to Jayden Daniels in Week 2. Driskel won't be able to enter Saturday's playoff contest unless both Daniels and Marcus Mariota become unable to play due to injury, illness or ejection.

Driskel (coach's decision) is inactive and serving as Washington's emergency third quarterback Sunday versus the Cowboys, Zach Selby of the Commanders' official site reports.
Driskel has consistently worked as the Commanders' emergency QB on game days this season, and he's logged just one snap (in Week 2 against the Giants) on the campaign. As usual, Driskel will be able to enter Sunday's matchup only if No. 1 QB Jayden Daniels and No. 2 QB Marcus Mariota are unable to play due to injury, illness or ejection.
