Texans' Folorunso Fatukasi: Makes big stop in win
Fatukasi recorded two tackles in a 24-20 win over the Jaguars in Week 4.
Fatukasi's biggest stop came on the first play of the fourth quarter with Jacksonville knocking on the door to make it a two-score cushion. Texans' Folorunso Fatukasi: Inks deal with Houston
The Texans agreed to terms on a one-year deal with Fatukasi on Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Fatukasi will stay in the AFC South after being released by the Jaguars this past Monday. The 6-foot-4 defensive tackle joined Jacksonville on a three-year, $30 million deal in March 2022, and he compiled 48 tackles, 1.5 sacks and four passes defended while appearing in 30 games over the last two regular seasons. Veteran defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins currently is set to hit free agency when the new league year starts Wednesday, and his potential departure could open up a starting role for Fatukasi in Houston.

Folorunso Fatukasi: Gets let go
Fatukasi was released by Jacksonville on Monday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Fatukasi received birthday wishes from the Jaguars' official Twitter account earlier in the day. However, the now 29-year-old was then cut from the team just a few hours later. Jaguars' Folorunso Fatukasi: Chance to play Week 14
Fatukasi (heel) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Browns, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Jacksonville's top nose tackle exited the team's Week 13 contest after suffering a heel injury, though he was able to log a week of limited practice sessions. Fatukasi has a chance to suit up Sunday, but if he's unable to move past his heel issue, Jeremiah Ledbetter would likely see an uptick in snaps on the Jaguars' defensive line.

Jaguars' Folorunso Fatukasi: Tending to heel injury
Coach Doug Pederson said Tuesday that Fatukasi is day-to-day with a heel issue, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.
Initial reporting suggested that Fatukasi sustained an ankle injury during Monday's loss at Cincinnati, but it's a heel problem that puts his availability for Week 14 in doubt. The Jaguars' injury reports over the week will shed light on whether he might be able to suit up Sunday at Cleveland.
