Cunningham totaled 35 points (13-21 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 8-11 FT), three rebounds, five assists and two steals across 33 minutes during Monday's 127-117 loss to Sacramento. Cunningham filled up the stat sheet Monday, highlighted by an efficient 35 points. However, it wasn't enough to get the win over the Kings. The rising star has scored 35 or more points for Detroit 11 times this season while averaging a career-high 25.9 points per game.... See More ... See Less

Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Drops 25 points in return
Cunningham (calf) logged 25 points (9-24 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 5-7 FT), nine rebounds, four assists and one block across 28 minutes in Saturday's 109-103 loss to the Grizzlies. Cunningham returned to the court after missing the previous six games due to a left calf contusion. Though the game was closely contested throughout, Cunningham played well below his season-long average of 35.1 minutes per game, so the Pistons seemed to be deliberately easing him back in. He also finished with five fewer assists than his season-long average, as Cunningham shared playmaking responsibilities out of the backcourt with Dennis Schroder, who remained in the starting five due to the absence of Tobias Harris (heel). Cunningham should see his minutes restriction loosen up a bit in the Pistons' next game Monday versus the Kings.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Set to play Saturday
Cunningham (calf) will start at shooting guard in Saturday's game against the Grizzlies. Cunningham typically serves as the main facilitator for the Pistons, but he may share playmaking responsibilities with Dennis Schroder as he returns from a six-game absence due to a left calf contusion. Though Schroder will likely head back to the bench when Detroit is at full strength, he'll stick in the starting five alongside Cunningham while forward Tobias Harris (heel) is sidelined. Cunningham could be operating with a slight minutes restriction as he suits up for the first time since March 21.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Ruled out Wednesday
Cunningham (calf) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Thunder. Cunningham will miss a fifth straight game for the Pistons while continuing to nurse a bruised left calf. Dennis Schroder will get the nod as the starter in the backcourt alongside Tim Hardaway in Oklahoma City.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Won't go Tuesday
Cunningham (calf) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against San Antonio. Cunningham will miss his second consecutive contest due to a left calf contusion. The star point guard's next chance to suit up will come Friday against the Cavaliers. Dennis Schroder is expected to draw the start at point guard once again, and Marcus Sasser will likely receive an uptick in playing time off the bench while Cunningham is out.... See More ... Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Sinks game-winner, triple-doubles
Cunningham registered 25 points (11-25 FG, 3-4 3Pt), 12 rebounds, 11 assists, two blocks and one steal in 36 minutes during Wednesday's 116-113 victory over the Heat. Cunningham was the hero for the Pistons on Wednesday, sinking the game-winning three-pointer over Bam Adebayo with the clock expiring in the fourth quarter. The star floor general also recorded his ninth triple-double of the season, although this was the first time he achieved this feat since the All-Star break. He's averaging 26.5 points, 5.7 rebounds and 8.6 assists per game since the beginning of March.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Ejected from Saturday's game
Cunningham was ejected late in the third quarter of Saturday's game against the Thunder after being assessed two technical fouls, Omari Sankofa II of the Detroit Free Press reports. Cunningham was assessed two technical fouls in quick succession near the end of the third quarter while arguing over a foul call. His night will end with 11 points (5-18 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), nine assists and seven rebounds over 29 minutes. Dennis Schroder and Malik Beasley will play more prominent roles in the fourth quarter due to Cunningham's ejection.... See More ... See Less -

Cunningham contributed 38 points (9-25 FG, 0-7 3Pt, 20-21 FT), three rebounds, 10 assists, two blocks and two steals in 38 minutes during Thursday's 129-125 loss to the Wizards. Cunningham struggled from three in Thursday's contest, but dominated from the free throw line en route to a near 40-point performance in a double-double showcase. Cunningham, who also handed out a team-high assist total, has recorded at least 38 points and 10 dimes in two outings this season.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Does it all again in balanced game
Cunningham posted 32 points (9-22 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 10-12 FT), nine rebounds, seven assists and three steals over 36 minutes in Monday's 106-97 win over the Los Angeles Clippers. Cunningham once again led the way for Detroit in Monday's contest, pacing all players in scoring, threes made and assists while finishing second among Pistons in rebounds and steals in an all-around performance. Cunningham has been strong all season long but has been red-hot of late, tallying at least 30 points, seven rebounds and seven assists in two straight outings.... See More ... See Less -

Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Double-double in Friday's win
Cunningham closed with 25 points (10-15 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), one rebound, 12 assists and two steals in 30 minutes during Friday's 125-110 win over the Spurs. The double-double was Cunningham's 24th of the season, and he continued a strong offensive run that has seen him score at least 20 points in 17 of his last 18 appearances -- and the one game he fell short, he delivered 19 points as part of a triple-double. The fourth-year guard is struggling with turnovers, committing seven Friday and averaging a career-worst 4.4 a contest on the season, the third-highest mark in the league behind Trae Young (4.8) and James Harden (4.5). Otherwise, Cunningham is having a breakout campaign, and during that 18-game stretch, he's averaging 27.9 points, 9.7 assists, 5.6 boards, 1.8 threes and 1.1 steals.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Will play Sunday
Cunningham (ankle) is available for Sunday's game against the Hornets, Keith Langlois of the Pistons' official site reports. As expected, Cunningham has been upgraded from probable to available and will return to action after missing Friday's win over the 76ers. Over his last 14 appearances, Cunningham has averaged 29.3 points, 9.7 assists, 5.6 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 36.2 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Likely to return Sunday
Cunningham (ankle) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Hornets. Cunningham was unable to play in Friday's 125-112 win over the 76ers due to a right ankle sprain. He appears to be on track to return Sunday, and if he's cleared to play, that would send Malik Beasley back to the bench. Cunningham averaged 30.0 points, 9.8 assists, 5.6 rebounds and 1.2 steals over 35.9 minutes per game over his last 10 outings.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Not playing Friday vs. Philadelphia
Cunningham (ankle) will not play against the 76ers on Friday, Natalie Kerwin of Bally Sports Detroit reports. Cunningham is battling a right ankle sprain, and while he did participate in Friday morning's shootaround, he has not done enough to be cleared to play. Malik Beasley will enter the starting lineup Friday due to Cunningham's injury. Cunningham's next chance to play will be Sunday against the Hornets.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Huge double-double not enough
Cunningham accumulated 30 points (8-23 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 13-13 FT), six rebounds and 14 assists in 38 minutes during Monday's 132-130 loss to the Hawks. It was the 22nd double-double of the season for Cunningham, who led the Pistons with his 30 points and 14 assists in Monday's narrow loss. Over his last eight contests, the All-Star guard has averaged 30.3 points, 9.8 assists, 5.4 rebounds, 0.9 steals and 1.6 three-pointers per game. However, Cunningham is also averaging 5.0 turnovers during that stretch, which is a shortcoming fantasy managers in nine-category leagues hope to see the star floor general improve upon going forward.... Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Shines offensively in double-double
Cunningham logged 22 points (10-23 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 0-1 FT), three rebounds, 15 assists, one block and one steal in 34 minutes during Sunday's 127-119 win over the Bulls. Cunningham has dished out 15 or more dimes in four outings this season, adding 20 or more points on all four occasions.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Ties season high with 40 points
Cunningham ended with 40 points (17-30 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six rebounds, four assists and one steal across 36 minutes during Friday's 117-102 victory over the Mavericks. In his first game since being named an All-Star, Cunningham tied a season-high figure with 40 points Friday to lead the Pistons. Over his last seven contests, the star floor general has averaged 30.0 points, 8.6 assists, 5.7 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.6 three-pointers in 35.6 minutes per game. However, Cunningham is averaging 5.4 turnovers during this period, so fantasy managers in nine-category leagues will want to see him improve in this area going forward.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Leader offensively in defeat
Cunningham provided 22 points (9-26 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds and seven assists over 33 minutes during Monday's 110-91 loss to the Cavaliers. Cunningham struggled a bit shooting the ball in Monday's contest, but he still led all Pistons in scoring to go along with a team-high assist total in a losing effort. Cunningham failed to connect on a three for just the fifth time of the season but has made up for it by posting at least 20 points and seven dimes in six straight outings.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Scores 29 with 11 assists
Cunningham contributed 29 points (12-19 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, 11 assists, two blocks and one steal over 34 minutes during Wednesday's 114-104 victory over the Hawks. Cunningham had another impressive performance and reached the 20-point mark for a seventh consecutive outing, as the star floor general continues to make a strong case to be selected to the All-Star Game. Cunningham is averaging 26.1 points, 8.7 assists and 6.1 rebounds per game in 12 appearances in January, a span in which the Pistons have gone 9-3.... See More ... See Less -

Despite a tough shooting night, Cunningham still made a big contribution. The fourth-year guard has scored at least 20 points in seven of the last eight games, averaging 26.9 points, 9.0 assists, 5.6 boards, 2.4 threes and 1.3 steals to lead a resurgent Pistons squad that currently sits eighth in the Eastern Conference at 21-21, and within striking distance of escaping the Play-In Tournament....
