  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Nears double-double in win

Allen closed Wednesday's 121-112 win over Miami in Game 2 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs with nine points (3-5 FG, 3-3 FT), eight rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal across 31 minutes.

Allen put in the work in the frontcourt during Game 2, coming one point and two rebounds shy of a double-double. The Cavaliers now have a commanding 2-0 series lead, as the series shifts to Miami for the next two games.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Dominant in win

Mobley closed Wednesday's 121-112 win over the Heat in Game 2 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs with 20 points (7-10 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six rebounds, one assist and one steal across 34 minutes.

Not only was Mobley dominant on the offensive end, but he helped limit Bam Adebayo and Kel'el Ware to a combined 18 points on 6-of-14 shooting. Mobley is averaging 14.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.0 assists with the Cavaliers holding a 2-0 series lead.

  • Cavaliers' Darius Garland: Nearly double-doubles

Garland had 21 points (6-14 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 7-8 FT), two rebounds and nine assists across 32 minutes during Wednesday's 121-112 victory over the Heat in Game 2 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Cleveland's backcourt has dominated this series so far, and the Cavaliers will carry a 2-0 lead into Game 3 in Miami on Saturday. Through two games, Garland is averaging 24.0 points, 7.0 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 3.5 three-pointers on 51.6 percent shooting from the field.

  • Cavaliers' Dean Wade: Muted role continues Wednesday

Wade produced one steal over six minutes during Wednesday's 121-112 win over the Heat in Game 2 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Wade played fewer than seven minutes for the second straight game, barely bothering the statisticians in the process. Despite playing a somewhat meaningful role for the majority of the regular season, Cleveland has shortened their rotation, relegating Wade to nothing more than a depth piece.

  • Cavaliers' Donovan Mitchell: Gets hot late in Game 2 victory

Mitchell supplied 30 points (10-21 FG, 7-10 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, six assists and one steal in 36 minutes during Wednesday's 121-112 victory over Miami in Game 2 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Mitchell ratcheted things up during the final quarter, scoring 17 of his team-high 30 points. Miami were able to pull to within two points late in the game, before Mitchell took it upon himself to turn the tide. Now leading 2-0 in the series, Mitchell will be hoping to repeat his last-quarter heroics when the two teams face off in Game 3.

  • Cavaliers' De'Andre Hunter: Improve performance in Game 2 win

Hunter chipped in 12 points (4-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and one steal over 23 minutes during Wednesday's 121-112 victory over the Heat in Game 2 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Hunter atoned for his scoreless performance in Game 1, helping the Cavaliers to a hard-fought victory over the Heat. Typically a double-digit scorer, Hunter has played a key role for Cleveland since arriving prior to the trade deadline. Now leading the series 2-0, the Cavaliers will look to assert their dominance when the two teams meet again in Game 3 on Saturday.

  • Cavaliers' Max Strus: Efficient shooting in win

Strus had nine points (3-5 FG, 3-5 3Pt), one rebound and one assist across 21 minutes during Sunday's 121-100 victory over Miami in Game 1 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Strus didn't light up the scoreboard in Game 1 against Miami, but he shot well when given the opportunity, going 3-for-5 from beyond the arc. Cleveland went on to cruise to a 21-point victory to take the 1-0 series lead.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Muted performance in win

Mobley supplied nine points (4-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt), seven rebounds and one assist over 33 minutes during Sunday's 121-100 win over Miami in Game 1 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Cleveland's backcourt dominated this game, while Mobley and Jarrett Allen combined to score 21 points. Mobley is coming off a terrific regular season, appearing in 72 games with averages of 18.4 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.6 blocks and 1.2 three-pointers on 55.6 percent shooting from the field.

  • Cavaliers' Ty Jerome: Huge effort off bench in Game 1

Jerome accumulated 28 points (10-15 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 3-5 FT), five rebounds and three assists in 26 minutes off the bench during Sunday's 121-100 win over the Heat in Game 1 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

In the first playoff game of his career, Jerome was a one-man second unit for the Cavaliers. The 27-year-old guard emerged as a key part of Cleveland's bench crew in March, and he's scored in double digits in 11 straight appearances, including Sunday, averaging 17.4 points, 3.9 assists, 2.2 threes and 1.9 boards in 22.3 minutes a contest over that stretch.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Double-double in Sunday's win

Allen logged 12 points (5-8 FG, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist, one block and three steals across 30 minutes during Sunday's 121-100 win over the Heat in Game 1 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

After getting frequent rest down the stretch of the regular season while still suiting up for all 82 games, Allen saw his usual workload to begin the postseason. He made an impact on defense in addition to recording his sixth career playoff double-double. At the same time, Allen's minutes and shot volume were down overall in 2024-25. He made up for it with improved efficiency, shooting a career-high 70.6 percent from the floor.

  • Cavaliers' Darius Garland: Drops 27 on Heat in Game 1

Garland closed Sunday's 121-100 victory over Miami in Game 1 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs with 27 points (10-17 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, five assists and one steal in 31 minutes.

Donovan Mitchell returned to the Cavaliers' lineup Sunday from an ankle injury, but Garland still saw slightly elevated usage as he topped 25 points for a third straight appearance. The 25-year-old guard has also drained at least four three-pointers in four of his last eight games, averaging 20.8 points, 7.0 assists, 3.1 boards, 3.1 threes and 1.0 steals over that stretch.

  • Cavaliers' Donovan Mitchell: Strikes for 30 in Game 1 win

Mitchell (ankle) contributed 30 points (11-19 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 6-7 FT), five rebounds, four assists and four steals across 33 minutes during Sunday's 121-100 victory over the Heat in Game 1 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

The 28-year-old guard missed the final four games of the regular season while tending to a left ankle sprain. Still, after getting another week to rest before Cleveland began its playoff run, Mitchell returned with a bang and led all scorers on the day. It's just the second time in 16 appearances since the beginning of March that Mitchell has scored at least 30 points, and his four steals tied both his season high and his career playoff high.
