Cavaliers' Larry Nance: Questionable for Wednesday
Nance (knee) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against Miami.
A knee contusion continues to bother Nance, who has missed consecutive outings with the issue. Should Nance return to action Wednesday, the veteran big man would be a potential replacement in the starting lineup for Evan Mobley (rest) at power forward.

Cavaliers' Jaylon Tyson: Out with concussion
Tyson (concussion) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Miami.
Tyson could have been a strong streaming option Wednesday, but he'll instead join a lengthy list of absences for Cleveland. The forward will be hoping to clear the concussion protocol ahead of Thursday's tilt against Toronto. With Tyson unavailable, the Cavaliers are positioned to lean on De'Andre Hunter and Dean Wade at the forward spots.

Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Resting vs. Heat
Mobley (rest) won't play in Wednesday's game against Miami.
Mobley will join Donovan Mitchell on the sidelines for rest purposes Wednesday. The star big man should be able to rejoin the lineup Thursday against the Raptors. With Larry Nance (knee) questionable, Dean Wade and Thomas Bryant could be in line for an expanded role Wednesday.

Cavaliers' Donovan Mitchell: Sitting out Wednesday
Mitchell (rest) is out for Wednesday's game against Miami.
Both Mitchell and Evan Mobley are resting Wednesday, with the contest being the first leg of a back-to-back for Cleveland. The superstar guard is likely to be back in the lineup Thursday against Toronto. With a slew of absences coming for the Cavaliers, Sam Merrill and Tyrese Proctor are both on the streaming radar.

Cavaliers' Darius Garland: Won't play vs. Heat
Garland (toe) is out for Wednesday's game against the Heat.
The Cavaliers are holding out Garland for injury management, so it's possible his exit in Monday's game against the Heat was precautionary. The star guard can be considered day-to-day ahead of Thursday's game against Toronto. Lonzo Ball and Craig Porter should see a rise in playing time for the depleted Cavs on Wednesday.

Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Double-doubles in loss
Mobley posted 21 points (8-15 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-7 FT), 10 rebounds, five assists and one block across 39 minutes during Monday's 140-138 overtime loss to Miami.
Mobley, like all other Cavaliers on the floor, appeared to be lost on Miami's alley-oop inbound pass to Andrew Wiggins with 0.4 seconds left that ended the game. However, Mobley still had a productive night overall. Mobley logged his fourth double-double of the season and has blocked a shot in every game so far, but his free-throw percentage has been tanking recently, as he is averaging 53.8 percent from the charity stripe in his last five games.

Cavaliers' Donovan Mitchell: Double-doubles in narrow loss
Mitchell racked up 28 points (10-28 FG, 3-16 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 15 rebounds, eight assists and one steal in 41 minutes during Monday's 138-140 overtime defeat to the Heat.
Mitchell had a tough time getting his shot to fall with Miami playing some suffocating defense. Still, he set a new career high in rebounds and came through big in overtime, hitting a miraculous, twisting fadeaway corner-3 with 0.4 seconds left to tie the game. Unfortunately, the Cavaliers had a miscommunication on their final possession and allowed Andrew Wiggins a wide-open lane to the hoop for a game-winning, alley-oop dunk, and that was all she wrote for Cleveland.

Cavaliers' Lonzo Ball: Scores nine points in 20 minutes
Ball contributed nine points (3-7 FG, 3-7 3Pt), four rebounds, two assists and one steal in 20 minutes during Monday's 140-138 overtime defeat to the Heat.
Ball saw a season-low in minutes despite the game going to overtime and Darius Garland exiting early after aggravating his toe injury, so it doesn't look like the former's role will change much with Garland going down again. Ball has been disappointing this season, averaging 5.1 points and 5.1 assists in 23.4 minutes per game, which has him ranked well outside the top 200 in fantasy leagues.

Cavaliers' Sam Merrill: Drills four triples in loss
Merrill tallied 12 points (4-16 FG, 4-16 3Pt), two rebounds and two assists over 28 minutes during Monday's 140-138 overtime loss to Miami.
Merrill struggled through most of the game while missing his first seven shot attempts, but he caught fire during the fourth quarter and hit back-to-back-to-back-to-back triples to tie up the game for Cleveland. He'll be in store for more minutes if Darius Garland (toe) needs to miss time, so give him a look if you need some points and triples.

Cavaliers' Jaylon Tyson: Scores nine points with nine boards
Tyson notched nine points (3-10 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), nine rebounds, one assist, three steals and one block over 31 minutes during Monday's 140-138 overtime loss to the Heat.
Darius Garland exited Monday's game after aggravating his surgically repaired toe, so he could be looking at another long-term absence. Tyson entered the game after Garland went down and was in the closing lineup through the overtime period, so he could find himself starting again Wednesday if Garland can't give it a go. Through seven starts this season, Tyson has registered averages of 13.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 2.7 triples, 1.4 steals, 1.1 blocks and 1.3 turnovers per contest.

Cavaliers' Darius Garland: Won't return Monday
Garland won't return to Monday's game against the Heat due to a left great toe injury, Spencer Davies of SI.com reports.
Garland exited to the locker room with 5:57 remaining in the third quarter and was ruled out shortly thereafter. He'll finish with 11 points (2-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one steal in 19 minutes. The star point guard underwent surgery on the same toe in June and may have aggravated the injury, which doesn't bode well for his status ahead of Wednesday's rematch against Miami.

Cavaliers' Darius Garland: Exits to locker room vs. Miami
Garland (undisclosed) exited to the locker room in the third quarter of Monday's game against the Heat, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Garland committed a foul and checked out of the game with 5:57 remaining in the third quarter. If the star point guard is unable to return, Sam Merrill, Lonzo Ball and Jaylon Tyson are candidates for increased minutes the rest of the way.

Cavaliers' Jaylon Tyson: Coming off bench Monday
Tyson is not in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Heat.
Tyson started Saturday's win over the Bulls and turned in a solid performance but will return to the bench with Darius Garland (toe) back in action. He's likely to remain a key reserve, logging significant minutes off the bench and stepping into the starting lineup when Garland is sidelined.

Cavaliers' Larry Nance: Out Monday
Nance (knee) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Heat, Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com reports.
Nance will miss his second consecutive game due to a left knee contusion, and his next opportunity to play will come in Wednesday's rematch against the Heat. With the veteran big man sidelined, Dean Wade and Thomas Bryant are candidates for increased minutes.

Cavaliers' Larry Nance: Iffy for Monday
Nance (knee) is questionable for Monday's game against the Heat.
Nance missed Saturday's win over the Bulls due to a left knee contusion and is in jeopardy of missing his second consecutive game. The veteran big man has come off the bench in eight of nine appearances this season, averaging 4.6 points and 3.7 rebounds in 16.7 minutes per game. If he remains sidelined, Dean Wade is a candidate to see an uptick in playing time.

Cavaliers' Darius Garland: Off injury report for Monday
Garland (toe) isn't listed on the Cavaliers' injury report for Monday's game against the Heat.
After sitting out the second leg of the team's back-to-back set in Saturday's win over Chicago, Garland will return to action Monday. Over two regular-season appearances thus far, the star point guard has averaged 14.0 points and 6.5 assists in 27.0 minutes per contest.

Cavaliers' De'Andre Hunter: Scores season-high 29 points
Hunter produced 29 points (10-16 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 5-7 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one block in 30 minutes during Saturday's 128-122 win over Chicago.
Hunter returned from a one-game absence against the Wizards on Friday but was limited to eight points. He certainly showed the illness is way past him with this performance in the second leg of a back-to-back set. The 29-point output was a season-best effort for Hunter, and he's looking like a reliable offensive weapon for Cleveland, as he's scored at least 16 points in five of his seven appearances this season.
