Bulls' Josh Giddey: Won't play Monday
Giddey (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Spurs, K.C. Johnson of Chicago Sports Network reports.
Giddey will sit out his first game of the season due to a right ankle sprain. He's considered day-to-day and isn't expected to miss significant time. Ayo Dosunmu and Kevin Huerter are candidates to see increased minutes Monday, while Giddey's next opportunity to play comes Wednesday against the Pistons.

Okoro missed only two shots from the field in this solid performance against his former team. He's probably never going to lead the team in scoring on a steady basis, but he's been putting up solid numbers in a starting role. Okoro has scored in double digits in three of his last four games, a span during which he's averaging 13.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game while making 50 percent of his three-point attempts.

Bulls' Josh Giddey: Struggles with shot Saturday
Giddey closed Saturday's 128-122 loss to Cleveland with 15 points (5-18 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 5-5 FT), nine rebounds, six assists, one block and two steals in 33 minutes.
Giddey saw the end of his six-game streak with either a double-double or a triple-double in this loss, but he came agonizingly close to keeping it alive thanks to his nine rebounds. It wasn't the best game for Giddey, who struggled massively from the floor while also posting his lowest mark in the assists department since late October. Giddey has been one of the most versatile and productive guards in the league in the opening two weeks of the regular season, so fantasy managers should continue to trust him even this game was a bit below his usual standard.

Bulls' Matas Buzelis: Struggles vs. Cleveland
Buzelis logged four points (1-6 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and four rebounds across 18 minutes during Saturday's 128-122 loss to the Cavaliers.
Buzelis has been one of the brightest spots for the Bulls in the early stages of the 2025-26 season, but he struggled badly in this game and posted his second-worst scoring mark of the campaign. As a second-year player, Buzelis will likely still have a few games in which he won't be able to make a significant impact, but more often than not, he's been reliable for Chicago. This four-point performance snapped a six-game streak of games with double-digit points for the forward, and he'll aim to bounce back when the Bulls take on the Spurs on Monday.

Dosunmu will again be limited to roughly 24 minutes on the second leg of this back-to-back set, although it's worth noting that head coach Billy Donovan said that this may be the last time that Dosunmu has minutes restrictions on a back-to-back. Still, he's tough to trust in daily settings if his minutes are capped in the 20s.

Jones didn't have his best game in the Nov. 4 win over the 76ers, but the veteran floor general bounced back in this contest. He's been very productive as the Bulls' starting floor general. Aside from scoring in double digits in six of his eight contests, he's also putting up solid numbers as a rebounder and playmaker, and his all-around ability works as a perfect complement for Josh Giddey in the backcourt. Jones is averaging 12.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 2.1 steals per game in his first eight outings this season.
