Seahawks' Riq Woolen: Active during OTAs
Woolen (ribs) participated during OTAs on Monday, Edwin Hooper of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Woolen exited from Seattle's final game of the 2024 season early with an injury to his ribs, but he now appears to be fresh for offseason workouts. Entering the final year of his rookie contract, he's already established himself as a reliable starter, missing just three games over three seasons. The Seahawks didn't add any competition at cornerback during the draft, so in 2025, Woolen projects to again be a strong second option at corner behind 2023 first-rounder Devon Witherspoon.

Seahawks' Riq Woolen: Evades major injury
Woolen (ribs) underwent X-rays, which came back negative, following Sunday's 30-25 win over the Rams, Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle reports.
Woolen exited Sunday's regular-season finale in the second half due to an injury to his ribs, but he appears to have avoided any major damage. The cornerback finished the 2024 campaign with 46 total tackles (32 solo), 14 passes defensed, including three interceptions, and a forced fumble over 15 games.

Seahawks' Riq Woolen: Exits game due to rib injury
Woolen (ribs) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Rams.
Woolen is iffy to return for the second half of Sunday's NFC West contest. With Tre Brown (knee) already ruled out for the rest of the contest and Woolen currently sidelined, Nehemiah Pritchett, Artie Burns and Devon Witherspoon will serve as the Seahawks' top corners.

Seahawks' Riq Woolen: Closes game with INT
Woolen recorded a solo tackle and an interception in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Bears.
Woolen intercepted a deep pass from Caleb Williams in the fourth quarter to effectively end the game. This was Woolen's third interception of the season, and he now has 11 total since entering the league in 2022. The speedster is locked in as a starter heading into the Week 18 clash against the Rams, and his assignment will be difficult with matchups against Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp.

Seahawks' Riq Woolen: Intercepts pass in defeat
Woolen recorded a solo tackle, an interception and an additional pass defensed in Sunday's 26-20 overtime loss to the Rams.
The cornerback also played on all 68 defensive snaps. Woolen now has 18 tackles (12 solo), and six pass breakups, including two interceptions, on the season.

Woolen (ankle) was a limited participant at the Seahawks' practice Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Woolen was able to practice for the first time since suffering an ankle injury in Week 5 against the Giants, which bodes well for his chances to return to the field Sunday versus Buffalo. The cornerback will look increase his workload the rest of the week in order to be active in Week 8.
