  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Double-doubles in Game 1 victory

Tatum contributed 17 points (8-22 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 0-4 FT), 14 rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal over 40 minutes during Sunday's 103-86 win over the Magic in Game 1 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Tatum recorded another double-double, helping the Celtics to a relatively comfortable Game 1 victory. Despite struggling on the offensive end, Tatum managed to chip in across the board, something he has been able to do with more consistency this season. The teams will meet again in Game 2 on Wednesday, with Boston looking to take a stranglehold on the series.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Undergoes X-rays on wrist

X-rays on Tatum's right wrist came back clean Sunday, Zack Cox of the Boston Herald reports.

Tatum took a hard fall late in Sunday's Game 1 against the Magic and appeared to hurt his right wrist. He was able to stay in the game following the fall, but he went to the locker room before the final buzzer when both teams elected to empty their benches with the game all but decided. Tatum indicated postgame that he had X-rays done on his wrist and that those came back clean. He and head coach Joe Mazzulla have stated that his wrist is not much of a concern, so his status for Wednesday's Game 2 matchup at TD Garden doesn't seem to be in jeopardy.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Officially good to go for Game 1

Tatum (rest) isn't on the injury report for Sunday's Game 1 against the Magic, John Karalis of BostonSportsJournal.com reports.

Tatum sat out Boston's regular-season finale due to rest purposes but is set to play in Sunday's playoff opener. Tatum will almost certainly reclaim his starting spot from Torrey Craig against Orlando.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Expected to play Sunday

Tatum (rest) is expected to play in the postseason.

With the No. 2 seed locked up, Tatum missed the regular-season finale for rest purposes. Across 72 regular-season appearances, Tatum averaged 26.8 points, 8.7 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.1 steals in 36.4 minutes per game.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Won't play against Charlotte

Tatum is out for Sunday's game versus the Hornets due to rest purposes.

Tatum, along with Boston's other typical starters, will sit out the regular-season finale due to the team already being locked into the second seed in the Eastern Conference. Sam Hauser, Baylor Scheierman and Torrey Craig are candidates to receive increased playing time in his absence. Tatum should be able to return to action for Boston's first-round matchup in the playoffs.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Set to play against Charlotte

Tatum isn't on the injury report for Friday's game versus the Hornets, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.

Tatum will return to action Friday after sitting out Boston's previous contest due to a left ankle sprain. However, with Boston already locked into the second seed in the Eastern Conference, it wouldn't be surprising for Tatum to play less than a full workload.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Won't play Wednesday

Tatum will not play Wednesday against the Magic due to a left ankle sprain, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.

Presumably, this is just a maintenance day for the second leg of this back-to-back set -- Derrick White (ankle), Kristaps Porzingis (rest), Al Horford (knee) and Jrue Holiday (shoulder) are all being held out as well, while Jaylen Brown (knee) is questionable. During Tuesday's overtime win over the Knicks, Tatum finished with 32 points (11-22 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 6-8 FT), seven rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal in 48 minutes.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Pours in 32 in OT win

Tatum finished with 32 points (11-22 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 6-8 FT), seven rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal in 48 minutes during Tuesday's 119-117 overtime win over New York.

The Celtics went with a short bench Tuesday, and it got even shorter as Jaylen Brown sat out the fourth quarter and OT, but Tatum and Kristaps Porzingis (with a team-high 34 points) were able to drag Boston across the finish line. Over 14 appearances since the beginning of March, Tatum is averaging 27.0 points, 8.1 boards, 6.5 assists, 3.0 threes and 0.9 steals.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Playing against Knicks

Tatum (ankle) is available for Tuesday's game against the Knicks, John Karalis of BostonSportsJournal.com reports.

Tatum was one of several Boston players who were listed as questionable for this contest, but the star forward will suit up and handle his regular workload on offense as the Celtics' go-to option on offense. Tatum is averaging 25.5 points, 7.7 rebounds, 6.9 assists and 0.7 steals per game over his last 10 contests.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Questionable for Tuesday

Tatum (ankle) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Knicks, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.

Tatum is in jeopardy of missing his second consecutive game due to a sprained left ankle. If the superstar is unable to suit up against New York, Torrey Craig, Sam Hauser and Xavier Tillman are all candidates to absorb extra minutes, especially with Al Horford (knee) being sidelined as well. Tatum has averaged 23.6 points, 8.4 rebounds and 6.6 assists across 33.4 minutes per game in his last five outings.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Won't play vs. Washington

Tatum (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Wizards.

After coming two rebounds and two assists shy of a triple-double in Friday's game against the Suns, Tatum will not play Sunday against Washington due to a sprained left ankle. The Celtics will likely turn to Sam Hauser to help pick up the slack in the superstar's absence.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Iffy for Sunday

Tatum (ankle) has been listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Wizards.

Tatum is coming off a near triple-double in Friday's game against the Suns, finishing with 23 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. However, he's dealing with a sprained left ankle, which could keep him sidelined Sunday against Washington. If Tatum cannot play, the Celtics will likely turn to Sam Hauser to help shoulder the load.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Comes close to triple-double

Tatum racked up 23 points (9-18 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 4-5 FT), eight rebounds, eight assists, one block and one steal across 35 minutes during Friday's 123-103 victory over the Suns.

Tatum had a rough shooting performance from beyond the arc, but that's perhaps the only negative aspect of this performance. The star forward finished just two boards and two dimes away from a triple-double while the Celtics cruised to a 20-point victory. Tatum has been one of the most consistent superstars in the league this season, and while his scoring numbers have regressed a bit of late, it shouldn't be anything that should worry fantasy managers. Tatum is ending the campaign on a strong note, even though the Celtics have already booked a postseason berth. He's averaging 24.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, 6.9 assists and a combined 1.6 steals-plus-blocks across 33.9 minutes per game over his last seven outings.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Posts strong double-double

Tatum registered 25 points (10-24 FG, 2-11 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 14 rebounds, two assists and one block over 38 minutes during Monday's 117-103 win over the Grizzlies.

Tatum wasn't the leading scorer for the Celtics in this contest, but the star forward still found a way to make his presence felt on the scoresheet with an excellent double-double. Tatum has recorded back-to-back double-doubles for the first time since doing so on Feb. 28 and March 2. He finished the month of March with strong averages of 27.9 points, 8.7 rebounds, 6.5 assists and a combined 1.4 steals-plus-blocks per game.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Teases triple-double in return

Tatum ended Saturday's 121-111 win over the Spurs with a game-high 29 points (10-22 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 7-7 FT), 10 rebounds, eight assists and one block in 36 minutes.

In addition to leading all scorers on the night, Tatum fell a couple dimes short of his third triple-double of the season, instead settling for his 30th double-double -- the second time in his career he's recorded 30 or more. It was an impressive return from a one-game absence due to a nagging ankle injury, and the issue hasn't impacted his production when he's been on the court -- the 27-year-old superstar has scored at least 20 points in nine straight appearances, averaging 29.6 points, 7.9 boards, 6.9 assists, 3.6 threes and 1.1 steals over that stretch.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Will play vs. San Antonio

Tatum (ankle) has been cleared to play in Saturday's game against the Spurs, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports.

After missing Wednesday's win against the Suns due to an ankle injury, Tatum will be back on the floor for the defending NBA champions Saturday in San Antonio. The superstar forward is averaging 27.1 points, 8.7 rebounds, 1.1 steals and a career-high 6.0 assists per game, shooting 45.5 percent from the field and 35.2 percent from beyond the arc.

Tatum (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Suns, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.

Tatum suffered a sprained left ankle during Monday's game against the Kings, which will keep him out Wednesday in Phoenix. The Celtics will likely turn to Al Horford and Sam Hauser to shoulder the load against the Suns.

  • Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Upgraded to questionable

Tatum (ankle) has been upgraded to questionable for Wednesday's game against the Suns, Marc D'Amico of the Celtics' official site reports.

Tatum went from doubtful to questionable after participating in Boston's morning shootaround. The superstar forward has been filling up the stat sheet on a nightly basis, but he sprained his ankle during Monday's win over the Kings, finishing with 25 points (8-15 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 4-8 FT), eight assists and seven rebounds in 26 minutes. Tatum is trending in the right direction but can be considered a true game-time decision Wednesday.
