76ers' VJ Edgecombe: Listed out for Monday
Edgecombe (back) is out for Monday's game against Cleveland.
Edgecombe was unable to shake a questionable tag and will be sidelined for a third straight game. The 76ers will be very shorthanded, so guys like Cameron Payne, Quentin Grimes and Jabari Walker could see expanded roles.

76ers' VJ Edgecombe: Iffy for Monday
Edgecombe (back) is questionable for Monday's game against the Cavaliers.
Edgecombe could miss a third straight game due to a back injury. If he is unable to play, Trendon Watford, Quentin Grimes and Jabari Walker could see expanded roles, especially with Tyrese Maxey (finger) already ruled out.

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: To miss at least two games
Maxey suffered a right finger sprain in Saturday's loss to Atlanta and will miss at least two games, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
The star point guard exited Saturday's contest with just 16 seconds remaining after colliding with Adem Bona, and the former won't play in Philadelphia's upcoming back-to-back set Monday and Tuesday against the Cavaliers and Grizzlies, respectively. With Maxey sidelined, Cameron Payne and Quentin Grimes are candidates for increased playing time, while Tyrese Martin could enter the rotation. Maxey's next opportunity to play will come Thursday in Detroit.

76ers' Dominick Barlow: Another quiet effort
Barlow racked up four points (2-5 FG), one rebound, two assists and one block over 26 minutes during Saturday's 125-116 loss to the Hawks.
Barlow is holding down the fort at power forward for the suspended Paul George, but the former continues to see little usage in the starting lineup. Barlow has averaged 5.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.9 blocks in 24.8 minutes per game over his last nine contests, so fantasy managers may be able to find more appealing streaming options.

76ers' Kelly Oubre: Strong all-around showing in return
Oubre notched 24 points (10-15 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-3 FT), five rebounds, four assists and two steals over 36 minutes during Saturday's 125-116 loss to Atlanta.
Following a two-game absence with an illness, Oubre enjoyed his seventh 20-point effort of the season Saturday. The 30-year-old forward remains worth rostering in the majority of fantasy leagues -- Oubre has averaged 17.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.7 steals and 2.1 three-pointers in 33.3 minutes per contest while shooting 42.9 percent from deep in his last seven games.

76ers' Quentin Grimes: Drops 26 points Saturday
Grimes ended with 26 points (9-15 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 5-7 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one steal in 41 minutes during Saturday's 125-116 loss to Atlanta.
With VJ Edgecombe dealing with a lumbar contusion, Grimes is experiencing a surge in fantasy value. The 26 points were Grimes' most since the Nov. 30 defeat to the Hawks, and he's now posted at least 16 points in back-to-back games after being held to single digits in his prior three contests. Through 10 appearances as a starter in 2025-26, the 25-year-old swingman has averaged 12.8 points, 4.6 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 33.9 minutes per game.

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Exits in final minute Saturday
Maxey exited to the locker room with 16 seconds remaining in Saturday's 125-116 loss to the Hawks due to an apparent right hand injury, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports. He posted 31 points (12-22 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five assists, three steals and two rebounds across 38 minutes.
The star point guard reached the 30-point threshold for the fourth time over his last seven games, though he collided with Adem Bona late in the fourth quarter and exited to the locker room while holding his right hand. If Maxey is forced to miss time, Cameron Payne and Quentin Grimes would be candidates to see an uptick in minutes. Maxey's status will be worth monitoring ahead of Monday's game in Cleveland, and he'll undergo further testing Sunday, per Tony Jones of The Athletic.

76ers' Trendon Watford: Coming off bench Saturday
Watford is not in the 76ers' starting lineup against the Hawks on Saturday.
Watford made his sixth start of the season in Wednesday's 106-102 win over the Jazz, when he finished with seven points (3-6 FG, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and one block over 22 minutes. He'll revert to a bench role for Saturday's contest due to the return of Kelly Oubre (illness).

76ers' VJ Edgecombe: Not playing Saturday
Edgecombe (back) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Hawks.
Edgecombe will miss a second consecutive game due to a lumbar contusion, and the rookie first-rounder's next chance to play is Monday against the Cavaliers. Trendon Watford figures to remain in the 76ers' starting lineup for as long as Edgecombe is sidelined, and Quentin Grimes and Jabari Walker should continue to operate in elevated roles off the bench.

76ers' VJ Edgecombe: Doubtful for Saturday
Edgecombe (back) is listed as doubtful for Saturday's game against the Hawks.
Edgecombe is likely to miss a second consecutive contest due to a lumbar contusion he sustained in Tuesday's loss to the Spurs. If he's ultimately ruled out, Quentin Grimes, Tyrese Martin and Justin Edwards would be candidates for increased playing time.

76ers' Joel Embiid: To be re-evaluated in one week
Embiid (oblique) will be re-evaluated in approximately one week, Noah Levick of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports Friday.
Embiid has been sidelined since Feb. 26 after sustaining a right oblique strain during a win over the Heat. While he remains out for the immediate future, the 76ers announced that the big man has begun individual strength work, a positive sign in his recovery process. Philadelphia has a busy slate over the next week, and Embiid will miss at least the next four contests based on this timeline. Andre Drummond should continue to start at center in the interim, with Adem Bona serving as the primary backup. Embiid's next realistic chance to suit up will likely come in mid-March, although Philadelphia might opt to take a cautious approach with the injury-prone Embiid.

76ers' Kelly Oubre: Good to go for Saturday
Oubre (illness) was able to practice Friday and will be back in action Saturday against the Hawks, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.
After missing a pair of games, Oubre is set to return to the rotation. VJ Edgecombe (back) remains day-to-day for the 76ers, so Oubre may be needed in an expanded role.

76ers' VJ Edgecombe: Misses another practice
Edgecombe (back) did not practice Friday, Noah Levick of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Edgecombe was limited to an individual session after Friday's practice. The rookie suffered a lumbar contusion Tuesday against the Spurs, and it's unclear if he will be able to return from a one-game absence Saturday against Atlanta.

76ers' Tyrese Maxey: Leads Sixers with 25 points
Maxey recorded 25 points (8-22 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 7-7 FT), six assists, two rebounds, three blocks and one steal over 38 minutes during the 76ers' 106-102 win over the Jazz on Wednesday.
Maxey didn't have the most efficient night from the field, but he took 10 more shots than any other of his teammates as he absorbed more attention from the Utah defense due to the absences of Joel Embiid (oblique), Paul George (suspension), VJ Edgecombe (back) and Kelly Oubre (illness). Maxey still finished as the team's leading scorer and contributed defensively with a game-high three blocks, which was also a season high that he set twice back in November. The two-time All-Star extended his 20-plus-point streak to 12 games in Wednesday's win. Over that 12-game span, Maxey has averaged 29.2 points, 6.3 assists, 3.9 rebounds, 2.8 threes, 2.1 steals and 0.8 blocks over 35.8 minutes per game, though he's connected on just 30.4 percent of his three-pointers in that period.

76ers' Quentin Grimes: Comes up clutch in fourth quarter
Grimes recorded 16 points (7-12 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one steal over 31 minutes during the 76ers' 106-102 win over the Jazz on Wednesday.
Despite missing all four of his three-point attempts, Grimes still finished Wednesday's game as the Sixers' third-leading scorer behind Tyrese Maxey (25 points) and Jabari Walker (22 points). Grimes found the ball in his hands down the stretch of the fourth quarter, and after tying the game at 102-102 with a driving layup, he gave the 76ers the lead for good by nailing two clutch free throws. It was an encouraging performance from the 2021 first-rounder after he failed to reach double-digit points in each of his three prior outings. Grimes has started in the 76ers' last two games but could revert to a bench role against the Hawks on Saturday if one or both of VJ Edgecombe (back) and Kelly Oubre (illness) are cleared to return.
