Beck reverted to Houston's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Beck was elevated for Saturday's divisional-round loss to the Chiefs and played 22 snaps (20 on offense, two on special teams), but he did not show up on the box score otherwise. The 28-year-old fullback out of Texas played in four regular-season games in 2024 (three for Green Bay, one for Houston), and he should get some interest in the offseason from a team in need of an additional blocker out of the backfield.

The sixth-year pro will spend his second season in Houston in 2024 after playing 507 total snaps (322 offensive) for the Texans last year. Now that Beck has returned to full health, he's expected to remain Houston's top fullback in 2024.

The Texans placed Beck (calf) on the active/PUP list Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Beck appears to still be dealing with the same calf strain he sustained in late May. He'll be eligible to come off the PUP list at any point in training camp, but if Beck is forced to miss significant practice time, it'll negatively impact his chances of beating out Troy Hairston for the top spot on the depth chart at fullback.

Beck missed Thursday's practice because of a calf strain, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
This is expected to be a short-term issue for Beck. The 28-year-old fullback is looking to hold off Troy Hairston (back) for the starting gig in 2024. Through 15 games last season, Beck rushed five times for three yards and a score and caught 11 of 13 targets for 55 yards and two touchdowns. He also recorded 94 yards and a touchdown as a kick returner.

Beck did not log a carry nor was he targeted in Houston's 34-10 playoff loss to Baltimore on Saturday. He finished the season with five carries for three yards and a touchdown over 15 regular-season games while catching 11 of 13 targets for 55 yards and two receiving TDs.
Beck achieved a rare feat for a fullback, scoring as a runner, receiver and a returner -- his 85-yard kickoff return shifted momentum in a Week 3 win over the Jaguars. He has one year left on a two-year deal and will likely reprise his role as a blocking back that can also fill in at tight end if needed. The major uncertainty is for whom Beck will be blocking. Devin Singletary, who finished the season as the top back, enters unrestricted free agency, while former top back Dameon Pierce fell off the radar in 2023.
