Bills' Michael Hoecht: Suspended six games
Bills general manager Brandon Beane said Friday that Hoecht has received a six-game suspension for violation of the NFL's policy regarding performance-enhancing substances, Matt Parrino of The Syracuse Post-Standard reports.
Hoecht and fellow free-agent signing Larry Ogunjobi will both miss the first six regular-season games of the 2025 campaign due to suspension, a development that hurts Buffalo's defensive-line rotation. With Hoecht unavailable to kick off the coming season, the Bills may be motivated to pursue additional depth behind Greg Rousseau and A.J. Epenesa.

Bills' Larry Ogunjobi: Receives six-game suspension
Ogunjobi has been suspended the first six regular-season games of the 2025 season for violation of the league's policy regarding performance-enhancing substances, Matt Parrino of The Syracuse Post-Standard reports.
Ogunjobi is fresh off signing a one-year deal with Buffalo, but his six-game suspension could make it more difficult for the veteran defensive lineman to challenge DaQuan Jones for a starting spot next to Ed Oliver. Across 15 regular-season appearances with Pittsburgh in 2024, he tallied 41 tackles (16 solo) and 1.5 sacks.

Bills' Kendrick Green: Lands in Buffalo
The Bills signed Green to a one-year contract Friday, Dorian Alerte of the team's official site reports.
Green suited up for all 17 regular-season games with Houston in 2024, drawing one start. He stands to handle a similar depth role at offensive guard for Buffalo.

Bills' Dane Jackson: Signs with Buffalo
Jackson agreed to a one-year deal with the Bills on Friday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Jackson will return to Buffalo after spending one season in Carolina, where he played in nine games including three starts, following a hamstring injury that landed him on injured reserve to begin the year. The 28-year-old corner is expected to provide much-needed production for Buffalo's secondary, a unit likely to add additional competition through free agency and/or the draft following the trade of Kaiir Elam and the expected departure of Rasul Douglas, who's an unrestricted free agent.

Bills' Laviska Shenault: Signing with Buffalo
Shenault is slated to sign with the Bills, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
The kickoff returner and wide receiver spent 2024 with the Seahawks and Chargers before being cut from L.A.'s practice squad in early January. Shenault finished the season with 459 kickoff return yards and a touchdown, but he caught just five passes for 36 yards. The Bills will likely have at least Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman and Joshua Palmer ahead of Shenault on the wide receiver depth chart to begin the offseason.

Bills' Darrick Forrest: Becoming a Bill
Buffalo will sign Forrest to a one-year contract, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.
Forrest took a back seat in Washington's defensive backfield in 2024, totaling just 70 defensive snaps over 10 regular-season games after playing 1,126 defensive snaps in his 22 games prior. His shortest path to snaps with the Bills to start 2025 will probably be with the special teams unit.
