Bills' Mecole Hardman: Nearing return to practice
Bills head coach Sean McDermott said Monday that Hardman (calf) could have his 21-day practice window opened this week, Chris Brown of the Bills Radio Network reports.
Hardman has been on injured reserve since Nov. 20, and he's now eligible to return to practice. Once activated, Hardman will operate primarily as an option in the return game for Buffalo.

Bills' Jordan Phillips: Already ruled out for Week 16
Head coach Sean McDermott said that Phillips won't play Sunday against the Browns due to an ankle injury he suffered in the team's Week 15 win over the Patriots, Alec White of the Bills' official site reports.
Phillips was hurt in the first half of Sunday's win, during which he took nine defensive snaps but didn't record any counting statistics. While the veteran defensive tackle is more of a rotational player at this stage of his career, it's yet another hit for a defensive line that is already without Ed Oliver (biceps), Michael Hoecht (Achilles), DeWayne Carter (Achilles) and Landon Jackson (knee).

Bills' Matt Prater: Out for Week 16
Bills head coach Sean McDermott said that Prater has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Browns due to a right quadriceps injury, Jay Skurski of The Buffalo News reports.
Prater suffered the injury during the Bills' 35-31 win over the Patriots on Sunday, when he converted all five of his extra-point attempts. With Tyler Bass (hip) already done for the season, the Bills will have to pursue a free-agent kicker to hold down the fort for the duration of Prater's recovery. Sal Capaccio of WGR Sports Radio 550 Buffalo relays that Prater is considered week-to-week and could miss more than one game.

Bills' Brandin Cooks: No catches vs. New England
Cooks (undisclosed) failed to catch any of his three targets during Sunday's 35-31 win over the Patriots.
Although Cooks played 22 offensive snaps and logged the second-most targets of any Bills receiver in Sunday's win, he was seen heading to the X-ray room with trainers following the game, per Katherine Fitzgerald of The Buffalo News. In three games with Buffalo, Cooks has caught just one of four targets for 13 yards. If he's able to suit up for the Week 16 matchup against the Browns, he'll likely remain a depth option in the team's receiving corps.

Bills' Tyrell Shavers: Blanks Sunday
Shavers played 34 of the Bills' 67 offensive snaps but wasn't targeted during Sunday's 35-31 win over the Patriots.
The San Diego State product has now gone without a target in three of the Bills last four games. However, he still played the third-most offensive snaps amongst Buffalo wideouts during Sunday's loss, trailing Khalil Shakir (45) and Keon Coleman (38). Expect Shavers to continue playing a depth role in the Bills' receiving corps in the Week 16 matchup against the Browns.

Bills' Ray Davis: Excels as kick returner in Week 15
Davis caught his lone target for 13 yards and returned four kickoffs for 164 yards during Sunday's 35-31 win over the Patriots.
Although Davis played a minimal offensive role in Sunday's comeback win, he averaged 41 yards per kickoff return and consistently provided the Bills' offense with good field position. Since taking over as Buffalo's lead kickoff returner in the Week 9 win over the Chiefs, Davis has accumulated 745 return yards and a touchdown, averaging a league-leading 32.4 yards per return, a mark that would also set a Bills franchise record. The second-year pro from Kentucky is expected to remain one of the NFL's most dynamic return men in the Week 16 matchup against the Browns.

Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Modest numbers in win
Kincaid secured three of four targets for 34 yards in the Bills' 35-31 win over the Patriots on Sunday.
Kincaid and fellow tight end Dawson Knox finished with the same number of catches, but the latter was on the receiving end of two Josh Allen touchdown passes. Kincaid has posted a 7-75-1 line on nine targets in two games since returning from a three-game absence due to a hamstring injury, affording him modest fantasy value heading into a Week 16 road matchup against the Browns next Sunday.

Bills' Matt Prater: Hits five extra points
Prater went 5-of-5 on extra-point attempts in Sunday's 35-31 win over the Patriots.
On a high-scoring day for the Bills' offense, the team's kicker did not get a field-goal try, though he made the most of his extra-point attempts. Prater has now made 43 extra points in 14 regular-season appearances this season, so he does get plenty of scoring opportunities on Josh Allen's team. He just hasn't attempted more than two field goals in a game since Week 2.

Bills' Joshua Palmer: One catch in victory
Palmer caught one of two targets for 16 yards in Sunday's 35-31 win over the Patriots.
Palmer was held to one catch for the first time since Week 3, though he's yet to exceed two receptions in a contest since Week 1. The wide receiver finished fourth on the team in receiving yards, while his two targets were his fewest since returning from an ankle injury in Week 11. Palmer will look to be more involved in the team's matchup with the Browns on Dec. 21.
