Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Double-double in win
Brunson dropped 25 points (9-17 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 11 assists, one rebound and one steal in 36 minutes of action during Saturday's 143-120 win over the Kings.
Brunson logged his ninth double-double of the season and his second since early December in the blowout victory. He's heated up some in January, now averaging 27.8 points and 6.7 assists while shooting 49.6 percent from the field on the month. Although Josh Hart and Mikal Bridges both had big scoring nights as well, it didn't do much to curb Brunson's shot appetite, which is encouraging for his fantasy managers.

Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Leading scorer in loss
Brunson supplied a team-high 26 points (9-23 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 5-5 FT), one rebound, five assists and two steals across 36 minutes during Friday's 116-99 loss to Minnesota.
The 28-year-old point guard topped 25 points for the fifth straight game, but Brunson is getting it done mainly on shot volume, not efficiency. He's attempted at least 20 field goals in seven of nine games in January, averaging 28.7 points, 6.6 assists, 3.1 boards, 1.7 threes and 1.2 steals on the month but shooting just 32.6 percent from three-point range.

Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Game-high 38 points as focal point
Brunson (shoulder) notched a game-high 38 points (14-22 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 7-9 FT), five rebounds, four assists and two steals across 45 minutes during Wednesday's 125-119 overtime victory over the 76ers.
Brunson served as the focal point of New York's offense with Karl-Anthony Towns (thumb) sidelined Wednesday, delivering a game-high 38 points while playing through a shoulder issue to power the Knicks past the 76ers. Brunson has now played four games this season with Towns unavailable, averaging 32.5 points, 6.3 assists, 3.3 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 2.3 threes in 39.8 minutes during this period. With Towns' status in the dark for Friday's showdown with the Timberwolves, Brunson may have to continue doing the heavy lifting on offense for the Knicks in a tough matchup.
