Trail Blazers' Shaedon Sharpe: Pours in 36 points
Sharpe finished with 33 points (12-23 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 6-7 FT), six rebounds and one assist over 36 minutes during Wednesday's 106-98 victory over the Timberwolves.
Sharpe finally came out of his shell Wednesday after a sluggish start to the season. The team moved Toumani Camara to the wing and slid Sharpe into the off-guard role with Anfernee Simons (illness) out. The switch could be the key to a continued increase for Sharpe, but implementing the change permanently will hurt Scoot Henderson's fantasy outlook.

Trail Blazers' Shaedon Sharpe: Entering starting lineup Sunday
Sharpe will start Sunday's game against the Grizzlies, Sean Highkin of RoseGardenReport.com reports.
Sharpe made his season debut Thursday after beginning the season with a shoulder injury. The 21-year-old pro has had a slow start to the year while averaging 9.5 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 20.5 minutes per game through two contests, but he will get an increased opportunity Sunday.

Trail Blazers' Shaedon Sharpe: Not on injury report Friday
Sharpe (shoulder) is off the injury report for Friday's game against the Timberwolves, Sean Highkin of RoseGardenReport.com reports.
Sharpe played in his first game since Jan. 11 during Thursday's loss to the Spurs, during which he posted 13 points (6-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt), two rebounds, an assist and a block across 20 minutes off the bench. The 21-year-old's availability in the second day of a back-to-back set bodes well for his status moving forward, and he could eventually take a spot in the starting five from Toumani Camara or Deni Avdija. The team will likely continue to ramp Sharpe back up to playing form slowly, though his health and scoring ability will likely result in an uptick in playing time.

Trail Blazers' Shaedon Sharpe: Efficient scoring in limited run
Sharpe (shoulder) tallied 13 points (6-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist and one block across 20 minutes off the bench in Thursday's 118-105 loss to the Spurs.
After missing the first eight games of the season while recovering from a small posterior labral tear in his left shoulder, Sharpe was eased back into the rotation in a bench role. Sharpe will likely be operating under a minutes restriction for at least a few more games, but once he gets fully ramped up, he could be a candidate to replace either Toumani Camara or Deni Avdija in the starting five. Though he doesn't possess the most well-rounded fantasy profile, Sharpe has displayed some scoring potential during his brief time in the NBA and could be particularly useful in points leagues.

Trail Blazers' Shaedon Sharpe: Available Thursday
Sharpe (shoulder) is available to play in Thursday's game versus the Spurs, Casey Holdahl of the Trail Blazers' official site reports.
Sharpe is expected to make his season debut off the bench, and he hasn't played in a regular-season matchup since Jan. 11 due to injuries to his abdomen and shoulder. The 21-year-old is expected to work his way back to regular playing time slowly, though he could eventually make a case to replace Toumani Camara as the club's starting two-guard.

Trail Blazers' Shaedon Sharpe: Could debut Thursday
Sharpe (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game versus San Antonio.
Sharpe's season debut could be on the horizon, with Friday versus Minnesota and Sunday versus Memphis representing the rest of a stretch of three games in four days for Portland. If Sharpe is cleared for Thursday's contest, he will likely be eased into action and would presumably come off the bench, though the 21-year-old may eventually replace either Toumani Camara or Deni Avdija in the starting five.

Trail Blazers' Shaedon Sharpe: Remains out
Sharpe (shoulder) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Pelicans.
Sharpe is due for another evaluation soon but remains out indefinitely while rehabbing from a small posterior labral tear in his left shoulder. He can do some on-court work but hasn't been cleared for contact yet, suggesting he'll be sidelined for at least another week even if Portland treats him as day-to-day.

Trail Blazers' Shaedon Sharpe: Team option exercised
The Trail Blazers exercised their fourth-year team option on Sharpe (shoulder) on Saturday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.
Sharpe suffered a small posterior labral tear in his left shoulder that is expected to keep him sidelined a few weeks into the regular season. Trail Blazers' Shaedon Sharpe: Spotted at shootaround Friday
Sharpe (shoulder) was seen taking shots during shootaround before Friday's preseason game against the Clippers, according to Sean Highkin of RoseGardenReport.com.
Even though seeing Sharpe without his shoulder in a sling is encouraging, that shouldn't affect his recovery timeline, and the promising guard is set to miss the first few weeks of the season. Dalano Banton, Toumani Camara and Kris Murray should benefit from Sharpe's prolonged absence.

Trail Blazers' Shaedon Sharpe: Cleared for training camp
Trail Blazers general manager Joe Cronin said Monday that Sharpe (abdomen) has been cleared for training camp this week, Sean Highkin of RoseGardenReport.com reports.
Sharpe underwent abdominal surgery in January, and although he was ramping up towards a return at the end of the 2023-24 season, the Trail Blazers decided to shut him down as a precaution. He'll have some hype in fantasy circles for obvious reasons, as he averaged 15.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.9 three-pointers and 0.9 steals in 33.1 minutes per game over his 32 regular-season appearances.
