    NC State needs at least one win BADLY to secure an NCAA Tournament bid after losing their final four games of the regular season. Will Wade's team averaged 83.5 points per game in the regular season and will need to control the pace in Wednesday's ACC Tournament opener. 15 of the Wolfpack's last 16 games have gone over this number, and while Pitt wants to ugly-up the game, I don't think it will happen. NC State breaks 80 and this total ends up in the 150s.

    Analysis

    I just bet this game on Saturday when we laid -13.5 with Iowa State at home. It didn't look good early with ASU leading at halftime. Luckily for us, we got one of those 24-0 runs to start that second half that happens once every 25 years. I'm going the other way this time. When news breaks about a coach being fired, it's hard to gauge how a team will respond. However, I'm not surprised ASU played hard against Baylor because even though the Sun Devils have struggled under Bobby Hurley, the players love him. I expect another strong effort here and while ASU might not have enough juice to pull off an upset, I think they stay within 12.5 (FD). Bet to 11.5.

    Analysis

    USC’s primary vulnerability is turnovers, but Washington’s passive defense ranks just 326th nationally in forced turnover percentage. The Trojans have proven resilient in tight games, posting a 9-4 record in contests decided by six points or fewer, while Washington is just 1-6. Neither team excels from three-point range, but USC’s perimeter defense is among the nation’s best. Washington has beaten USC twice this season, including a commanding 91-72 victory on March 4, when the Huskies shot 48% compared to USC’s 38%. The Trojans have dropped seven straight games and are 0-6 against the spread in their last six outings. Despite enduring injuries all season, this could be an ideal scenario for USC to finally cover. They will be extremely motivated in this spot.

    Analysis

    This is a huge game for Texas, who most people have in the tournament right now, but just barely. That doesn't mean the Longhorns will win on Wednesday but we know they should be motivated. Ole Miss is finishing up an awful season under Chris Beard and Texas has numerous key edges in this matchup. The Horns should dominate the boards and live at the free throw line against an Ole Miss squad that fouls at the highest rate in the SEC. That's important if the spread comes into play because the Horns shoot 77% from the line. I'll back Texas to cover the 5.5. Bet up to 6.5

    Analysis

    This is a must win game for Sean Miller's Texas team, who averages slightly under 85 points per game. The Longhorns have played 13 consecutive games where the totals have reached 146 or more points. Ole Miss averages 75.3 points per game and gives up 75.9 PPG. I see this as an 82-73 type of game, giving us some cushion to the over line.
