Crevier produced an assist, two shots on goal and five hits in Monday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Hurricanes. Crevier has two points over his last four games, and he's also logged at least 20 minutes of ice time in five straight outings. He's often been paired with Alex Vlasic -- it's a young pairing, but interim head coach Anders Sorensen appears to trust both of them together. Crevier is up to three points, 20 shots on net, 37 hits, 29 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over 18 appearances. The 23-year-old plays more of a defensive game, so it's unlikely he'll consistently put up offense to become a factor in most fantasy formats.... See More ... See Less

Blackhawks' Louis Crevier: Tallies in loss Monday
Crevier scored a goal on two shots, blocked two shots and added two PIM in Monday's 5-2 loss to Calgary. Crevier has been in the lineup for eight straight games, and this was his first point since his goal Nov. 27 versus the Stars. The 23-year-old has been over the 20-minute mark in the last two games, even with Alec Martinez back in the fold after a following a month-long absence. Crevier has just two goals with 17 shots on net, 24 hits and 26 blocked shots through 15 appearances this season, but it looks like his development has taken a step forward. That will put pressure on players like Wyatt Kaiser, Nolan Allan and T.J. Brodie to elevate their play at the risk of being scratched.... See More ... See Less -
Blackhawks' Louis Crevier: Scores first NHL goal
Crevier scored a goal on two shots and blocked three shots in Wednesday's 6-2 win over the Stars. Crevier has played in back-to-back games, though he'll still have to compete with Nolan Allan and Wyatt Kaiser for two spots in the lineup. The goal was the first of Crevier's career. The 23-year-old is likely to fill a third-pairing role when he plays, so he'll have minimal upside in fantasy.... See More ... See Less -
Blackhawks' Louis Crevier: Up from minors
Crevier was summoned from AHL Rockford on Saturday. Crevier contributed three helpers in 24 regular-season appearances with the Blackhawks in 2023-24. He has an assist in 11 AHL outings this campaign. With Seth Jones (foot) unavailable, Crevier could see his first NHL action of 2024-25.... See More ... See Less -
Blackhawks' Louis Crevier: Grabs one-year deal
Crevier signed a one-year, two-way contract with Chicago on Monday. Crevier made his NHL debut last season, logging 24 games for the Hawks in which he generated three assists, 18 shots and 30 hits while averaging 15:41 of ice time. With the additions of T.J. Brodie and Alec Martinez in the offseason -- not to mention the club drafting Artyom Levshunov No. 2 overall in the 2024 NHL Draft -- there is a significant logjam on the blue line in Chicago, which could see Crevier spending the bulk of his time in the minors.... Blackhawks' Louis Crevier: Good to go
Crevier (mouth) will return to the lineup Sunday versus Detroit, according to Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times. Crevier, who will be back from a two-game absence, will play alongside Jarred Tinordi on the third pairing versus the Red Wings. The 22-year-old Crevier has three assists, 14 shots on goal, 43 blocked shots and 21 hits in 20 NHL outings this season. His return will bump Isaak Phillips to the press box.... See More ... Blackhawks' Louis Crevier: Out Friday
Crevier (mouth) will not suit up Friday against the Jets, Mark Lazerus of The Athletic reports. Crevier has now missed the last two games, but his injury is reportedly minor, so he could be back sooner rather than later. The 22-year-old rookie has picked up three helpers through 20 contests this campaign.... See More ... See Less -
Blackhawks' Louis Crevier: Back with big club
Crevier was promoted from AHL Rockford on Wednesday, Charlie Roumeliotis of NBC Sports Chicago reports. Nikita Zaitsev (knee) was placed on injured reserve in a corresponding move, so Crevier could be in for an extended stay with the Blackhawks. The 22-year-old rookie has picked up three helpers while averaging 16:09 of ice time through 13 top-level appearances this year.... See More ... See Less -
Blackhawks' Louis Crevier: Returning to AHL
Crevier will be sent back to the minors Tuesday, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Crevier's demotion will open up a spot on the 23-man roster for both Taylor Raddysh (groin) and Joey Anderson (shoulder) to be activated off injured reserve. With Isaak Phillips seemingly ahead of him on the team's depth chart, the 22-year-old Crevier figures to be a long shot to return to Chicago any time soon, especially once Seth Jones (shoulder) is cleared to play....
