Tillman will stick around Denver after entering the offseason as an exclusive-rights free agent, earning $960,000 in 2025. The linebacker is coming off a rookie campaign in which he compiled 23 total tackles (13 solo), including 5.0 sacks, while playing in 12 regular-season games. Tillman will likely operate as a top reserve option off the edge behind Nik Bonitto and Jonathon Cooper again next season.

Tillman, a rookie from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, finished tied for the fifth-most sacks on the Broncos defense in 2024 despite playing just 230 defensive snaps across 12 regular-season contests. The 26-year-old was also a major contributor on special teams, logging 203 special-teams snaps. Tillman is now set to be an exclusive rights free agent this summer, meaning the Broncos can retain him by simply extending a qualifying offer. With his impressive production in Denver, the Broncos are likely to bring him back as the team's top rotational edge rusher in 2025, where he'll play behind Jonathon Cooper and Nik Bonitto.

Tillman finished with three total tackles, including 2.0 sacks, in the Broncos' 26-7 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday.
The backup linebacker only played 36 percent of the defensive snaps in his season debut. Nik Bonitto started the game at outside linebacker for Denver with Baron Browning on injured reserve with a foot injury. Tillman made a strong case for more playing time in Week 4 against the Jets.
